After carefully examining this for 1 hour i found a plot hole.
If magibeasts can read these (>_random_command) messages when amiel was trapped in the room with magibeast that was trapped in pool why didn't magibeast attack where we told amiel to go same with dark rooms underground at barracks.

Not that it matters but i have a theory maybe this magibeast we are >command
talking to is the only one who can do this. also >command talking is now my trademarked name for this kind of talk where we type ">whatever" and a magibeast responds. (just kidding a bought trademark part)

My other theory is maybe they can all do it but only with others who can hear "HER"

Mutations proceed, new traits emerge. Just because you don't know the answer doesn't make it a plot hole. For all we know, his little episode at the start of this chapter flipped the 'can speak Majibeast' trigger.

and that's not what i said. i had that ether she or all magi beasts can read the ">randomwords" which are mostly commands to ask something and she can respond to the commands before sekani even says what they tell him to say so if this is true here use same in other times we have seen magibeasts why didn't they just use this ability to read ">randomwords" to get the edge they would need to know what sekani and ameil would do before they did it in a way that would let them kill them thus bringing us back to theory 1 and 2.

Sekani wipes off all the blood while his mind fills with confusion.

"You seem unsure of what you want, brother. I appreciate you wanting to cure me, but I am not sick. Ki-jaara are immune to viruses~ I'll come with you. We can go wherever you want~ The Queen is very patient. She will wait as long as it takes for you to be ready to meet her~"

She nudges Sekani affectionately and gently touches one of his antenna with her tail. He hasn't felt a desire this strong since he first came of age. He isn't even sure if he can knock her over, but the notion's very tempting.



Sekani asks Dilia about the buildings of the facility. She gives him a general idea of what each building did, but she doesn't seem to have any in-depth knowledge. Sekani now has a general idea where everything is located.

Dilia says she has no idea what Sekani is talking about. Considering his own struggles, it's highly possible she has no memory of life before becoming a Majibeast.

Sekani heads back over to update Amiel on the situation. He explains everything that happened, how the entire world is kind of missing, how he ran into a majibeast, and the ...interesting conversation that ensued.



Amiel's eyes widen. The world is gone!? It has to be some kind of illusion. There's no way something like that is real. She suggests they try not to think about it too much. They'll find some way to dispel this trick.

Her voice shaking, she tells Sekani she's glad the Majibeast didn't try to murder him. She's... proud of him for not giving in to its advances.

Sekani thinks something about his story bothered her. Probably the part about the world being gone.

We need to be able to work together, and if she's pissed off or worried or any other perfectly reasonable reaction to being told something like that, then we're going to have trouble working as a team.

If she must know anything, then we tell her that he thinks he's losing control over his own thoughts. She doesn't need to know WHAT thoughts he's losing control over. We should also tell her that Dilia is extremely forward and it makes him uncomfortable, because THAT is something she should know to avoid an explosion when she finds out later.

Amiel says it's just so much to take in all at once. In a single day she's met the "enemy", grown attached to him, and watched him suffer and change. She's afraid she'll lose him and end up alone against enemies much stronger than anything she's seen before.




She's always taken challenges head-on without a moment's hesitation, but this is all too much. It's just too much.

Sekani explains that he's having more and more trouble controlling his thoughts. He also tells her that the Majibeast was trying to come onto him, and it made him feel really uncomfortable.

She says it must have been a trick. The majibeast is manipulating Sekani. She assures him that he will be okay. They'll find a way to fix this and make him better.

Sekani feels strange.

Okay, I think he handled it well, I just wanted to make sure it got out (though I still disagree with Guin a tad, but that's for another time)

Sekani says that the past day has been hard on both of them, but for now they need to focus. He asks her to try and avoid killing any Majibeasts for now. There's every chance they can be cured alongside him.

Amiel says she'll do her best, but if it becomes a choice of the Majibeasts vs her and Sekani, she will sooner save their lives than let the monsters eat them.

It takes over an hour, but they manage to get one of the BUNK BEDS right beside the door.

It is now late afternoon. There's only a couple hours of daylight left.



Even with the bunkbed, They are too short to reach. Sekani flies to the roof and then reaches down to help Amiel up.



Sekani then flutters down the other side and catches Amiel as she jumps down.

Amiel asks what's wrong. She doesn't seem to be able to hear the Majibeast.

Amiel asks if Sekani's sure that he convinced the Majibeast not to eat them.

Amiel asks why it's smiling so much. Sekani says Dilia is trying to hit on him again, he thinks. She points her tail at Dilia threateningly. Dilia just smiles and shows her own tail, which doesn't appear nearly as dangerous.

Sekani explains to Amiel that Dilia is going to come with them. She might be able to open doors that they can't open themselves. Amiel says that's fine but he should tell her to back off.

They both rubs his ears with their tails. Tezakians have rather sensitive ears, so this is a very interesting sensation for Sekani.




Sekani manages to get them to behave long enough to make it to the MAJICKA RESEARCH CENTER. The door looks like it requires a keycard.

Her words always echo in Sekani's head as if being sung by a choir, but somehow Dilia sounds even more musical than usual. She is clearly pleased with herself.
Sekani wonders if he'd eventually be able to do that kind of stuff.

Amiel asks if the Majibeast is saying anything. She seems to feel left out, not being able to hear what they're saying to each other and all. Sekani says that he might be able to use Majicka as he continues to transform. Amiel says she hopes that they cure him long before they have a chance to find out.

Even more implications - that other Majibeast that Amiel killed had burns on it, right? And the Diuwhatsit, too. Maybe caused by electrical discharge?

Anyways. Might as well head on in, since the door's open.

There are three doors, but no indication where any of them lead. On the table is some very, VERY spoiled food. At least, it may have been food.

There are no signs showing where they should head. All of the doors are locked, but at the moment that hardly seems like an issue. This building likely follows a similar layout pattern to the previous buildings they've been to.

Sekani asks Amiel if she's hungry. She says she's starving. She suggests they head back to the MESS HALL in the COMMAND CENTER for food.

Every moment they waste is another moment close to becoming a full fledged monster, but they need to be prepared for trouble. It would probably be a bad idea to find out Dilia is lying while weak with hunger.

Argh! Sekani could always fly over there himself, but he isn't completely sure he trusts Dilia not to eat Amiel the second he leaves.

Sekani misses his mother's Caterpillar cupcakes. The combination of insects, flower, and sugar was perhaps the greatest thing the great baker Telaz thought up.

Sekani heard Amiel's stomach growling, and it reminded him of the time when his sister's mate was thirty minutes late for their date, and she told Sekani that if he ever got a girlfriend he should always ensure she is fed immediately because only huge jerks let their loved ones starve. In fact, he's pretty sure she had actually said that the female's happiness should be more important than the male's life. That always seemed kind of harsh. Shouldn't the male's comfort be important too? Obviously Sekani doesn't know too much about how relationships work but he was always told that his main goal should be making the female happy, otherwise he'd end up being sad and alone. And he didn't really like being sad and alone. Come to think of it, maybe that's one of the reasons he let Amiel push him around so much. Because his sister insisted it was the proper way to treat a lady. But Sekani has needs too! Needs like not turning into a hideous monster. That is a pretty big need, he feels. Though he's not entirely sure what he even wants from Amiel at this point. It's not that he didn't like what they did. It was very interesting finding ways to cope with their incompatibilities, and she's kind of soft in some places like a teddy bear. Only warmer. But then again, Sekani is pretty soft too. Maybe a relationship is taking comfort in each others' softness? He felt safe with Amiel, which is not quite how he's felt around Dilia. And yet, Dilia has a strange allure about her. Does Sekani secretly want to be bossed around? He couldn't even fathom having to take commands from other people all the time. That would be the worst thing ever.

After going through a couple of rooms, they find what they are looking for.

It's a giant mess hall. [It is also the first and LAST background I'm doing in photoshop.]

Amiel offers to look behind the giant buffet counter for anything that could still be edible. She doesn't think she'll find anything that Sekani would enjoy, but she'll try to find something his stomach can handle. Dilia offers to make Sekani an Amiel sandwich, then claims she's joking after seeing his reaction.

Dilia insists the Majibeasts aren't going to hurt them, but complies.

While they search through boxes for something edible, Amiel chuckles. Sekani asks why she's laughing, and she says she just thought of something silly her brother did once.

Interested, Sekani asks to hear the story.

Well, she says, one time time her brother got really drunk and came home saying he was going to take her to the largest roller coaster in their district. Her mother interjected, saying that he was in no condition to ride anywhere.

He said that he had gotten to their house just fine and that he knew what he was doing. This convinced her, but when they went outside they found that he parked his MOTORIZED BICYCLE in the middle of their yard, right on top of a ceramic statue. He looked at his CYCLE, and then at the broken statue, and after a pause admitted that maybe she was right. Their mother was so angry, but Amiel couldn't help but giggle.

Sekani chuckles.



Amiel smiles and says that this is the first time she's heard him laugh. He sounds so adorable, like a songbird. Sekani blushes and thanks her. It's weird being complimented on something his entire race does naturally, but Lians probably don't hear laughing Tezakians very often, for obvious reasons.



Sekani asks Dilia what she wants for food, but she responds by saying Majibeasts only need to eat every couple of days, and she had already been fed not long ago.

Oddly, some of the food isn't all that old. Sekani wonders if the Diuban brought it here. They manage to make a soup for him and a strange pastry for Amiel, filled with various fruits and vegetables.

Should Sekani ask Amiel or Dilia any questions? Is there anything he should try to discuss? Or should they just make small talk until they're done eating?

They continue eating for a while, and are about to head back to the MAJICKA RESEARCH CENTER when a more pressing matter makes itself known.



The lights are dimming. The station is beginning to run out of power again. Whatever they intend to do, they better do it in a hurry!

From the entrance, they find a Restroom to the right and a Locker Room to the left. They then head forward.


To the left is a STORAGE ROOM, and to the right some kind of CONFERENCE ROOM. There's a poster near the end of the hallway, and stairs that presumably head up.

The GREEN VIAL may be the cure? Sekani remembers seeing three vials on one of the tables: RED, GREEN, and BLUE.

Sekani is starting to feel pretty angry! The child shows no sign of life, and a much larger tube has apparently been broken by a "failed experiment". It serves them right.
