Suddenly a cacophony of environmental sounds flood your limited senses. The gentle waves the loudest thing you've ever heard, right up until the sharp cry of some unknown creature makes you shudder and cringe. Or feel like doing so, your limbs feeling sluggish and slow, as if they haven't been used in ages.

Oh.

Well you kinda figured it was a beach, but the visual confirmation helps.

"You... I should sit down? Okay.."

Oh! Is that your voice? It's much higher pitched than you were expecting.

The sand doesn't seem to bother your joints as much as you initially thought.

So Toa, do you have an elemental power? Or a toa tool? We should probably find you some.

"I.. don't know what those things are?"

The large bio-mechanical being ponders the inputs that they hear as spoken thought.

Alright! So usually the color of the mask we find will dictate our elemental power. Look around, the beach. You are a Toa Mata, usually you come from large canisters and those usually have your equipment.

"Okay! So look for a shiny thing nearby?"

It's becoming increasingly obvious that this supposed Toa is more like a child than what you remember Toa to be like.

They scan the beach left and right. To the left the beach curves into a cove and some deep jungle. To the right, a few glints of something catch their eye.

"Oh! I see two colorful shiny things in the sky, is that the Canister?"
