Hm. You still haven't cleared out those old boxes you bought on a hunch from that 'mystery yard sale' at the abandoned house, so you could check that out. Who knows if there really was anything valuable inside!

You could work on your costume for the upcoming Halloween celebrations. Some of the more ambitious teens ARE arranging a (begrudgingly parentally sanctioned) public party at the abandoned house lot and you know for sure the school will want authority figures in place there.

You could also just relax, check in with your local friends, go out and have dinner, watch a movie, make a move on that really dense love interest of yours, maybe.

You really should head home and make some headway on the attic, your grandfathers stuff is jammed so tight in there you doubt even the ghosts have room to move, but you also know that without you your friends will just get lost or begin fighting the wildlife.

you turn off the main road and head up the trail to the camp, enjoying the drive through the lush forests that surround the town for a while before parking up and heading to the area they camped in.

one of them enthusiastically greets you as you arrive, while another lounges lazily on a nearby log. you can hear the third moving about in the Winnebago parked at the rear.
