I can only use blood outside of my body or blood I've taken control of, (though that will make me feel strange) and my body regenerates blood at the rate of a standard human. I think.

I peek out into the hall. This is a dead end that my cell is situated in, but heading out, I can either go right or left.

There is always more footsteps to the left and the sounds of conversation.

I could also take the man's blood for an infusion and increase my abilities, though that will make me feel strange.

I... it's hard to describe. It is like... I am losing parts of myself.

I keep the stolen blood nearby. Which way should I go? Should I reshape the blood into something else? If so, what?

>you have 4735 grams of blood available to construct objects. Keep in mind that focus must be maintained on the object, so the simpler the better.

I can also Inoculate the blood for improvement and mutation, with four Chosen mutations, or eight Random mutations, though this will cause strange feelings.

And I still am uncertain which direction to go in.

combine some blood with your needle so it takes the shape of a dagger. a dagger is both a weapon and a tool. head slowly left and listen, see if you can count how many voices are there. if more then 2 then go right.

Try to avoid 'losing parts of yourself' any more than necessary. You already forgot much of who you are, more and you may be gone entirely. Save mutations for when you have no other way to progress or if the situation is truly dire.

Try forming some of the blood into a weapon. A sword if you can achieve an edge with it, otherwise just make something to bludgeon with. A shield might serve you well too if you can maintain two things at once.

Looking behind the tapestry, I find a small cubbyhole. Inside is a syringe with a single dose of magically infused blood!

Magically infused blood is very very useful to me. It allows me to choose 2 mutations, and then two random mutations will occur. It should be noted that, due to the nature of the magical blood, I will not lose sense of self.

causes a 7th mutation on the random mutation list. this 7th is always a good thing n matter why we are mutating. even if we get exposed to phazon or something :P

I do not think any of them are weaker than myself. The floors are arranged by power, with the weakest closer to the surface and the strongest deep, deep underground. There is only two floors below me, where Subject 1 resides. I dare not go there. I have seen It once, encased in crystal that would not break, warping the view of what laid within.

It is my first memory I can recall. It is not a happy one.

The one who lead me there had bloody ears and eyes, his nose cut out. He stumbled, as if he did not know whereupon he stepped.

19 reminds me of 1 for reasons I cannot understand or clarify.

"...let me out, Thirty." it rumbles, slamming against the door in a tired display of aggression. "I want to eat you. I want to tear you. I want to wear your face."

All of them are mad. All of them. No one lasts the inoculations or the changes for very long. Some go faster than others. But sooner or later, everyone goes.

I swing through the doorway into a very large room. Three absolutely enourmous tapestries adorn one wall, behind a small stage. There are, in bad repair, rows of pews lined up, all the way to the back of the room, where two staircases are, one leading up, the other down.

I feel a strange attraction to the latter.

Shaking it off, I note that the distant door has a sign that reads "LAB".

Even as I turn to attack the scientist I thought dead, his body twitches out of the way, pulled from my assault by an ebony tentacle. And another tears free from his back, pulling him to the ceiling as his robe blackens, and then I realize... it's the man's skin, pulled from beneath the cloak, stretched and mutated until it takes the form of a gristly robe. His eyes vanish into his skull, his mouth agape as blood runs down his cheeks. His hands warp, and as I watch, the skin upon them peeled away, then the muscle, then the bone itself melts into black ooze that reforms into long tendrils that reshape into vile mockeries of hands.

Then, finally, his heart rises from his chest, beating slowly, glistening in the open air.

Something about this stirs a very primal fear within my heart, a sympathetic feeling of loss and pain.

lead it back to 19, and while they are trying to kill each other you collect the spoils.

Well obviously it inspires sympathetic feelings. You're made of the same black stuff as he just melted into. Even if you can't remember it I doubt you can completely forget the pain.

For the future, don't kill people just because they annoy you, because then you end up having to fight with things like this

i said to kill him, not because he was annoying but because he looked like he was being taken over. which as you can see he was. may have gotten something worse if we didn't do it that soon.

With a scream, the creature throws the furniture to the back of the room, blue lines appearing breifly upon them as they lift up and nearly slam into me.

The noise has died down. I doubt they are fighting anymore.

>I'm not sure but the gigantic swollen beating heart might be something!

I attempt to strike at it, but he raises an arm swiftly, and iron-hard tendrils of flesh block my blade.

Damnit!

Use your electrical breath!

Also possibly hair tentacle stabbing.
>>
No. 240303 ID: c59f60

yes, a bolt directly to the heart.

Even if the electrical breath doesn't hit the heart directly it should stun or at least distract enough so you can get an opening to stab at it.

point, if it does just seem to stun him then split your blood hair in two and grab each of his 'hands' by the wrist to keep them still then stab.

I spew the lightning. It's not much -barely even a few tendrils- but they slide around the arms as if they aren't there, and almost seem to seek the heart.

They are both magically infused blood.

However...

The Yellow Blood is called Immortal Sanguination. It grants supreme defense against one attack, taking the power of immortality from Elves and Halflings. The cost is, however, that the area I inject it into becomes paralyzed for one hour.

The purple blood is called Retreading Ichor, and allows me to randomize one of my mutated traits. However, doing so will forever remove a single upgrade from the ones you can see upon using mutagenic blood.

Both papers also note that each vial comes with a certain number of doses, the power behind them such that a single dose is all that is required for their effect.

Take the vials for use later, and go unlock that cabinet.
