The Market has been shaken. Cayman Global and Eurocorp are tearing each other apart. Aspari is torn between acquiring new territory and defending its current assets from Tao and Geld-Phau Thuat. The old Syndicates are dying. It is time for a new Syndicate to rise. Your company had just made a successful merger with several others, forming this new Syndicate. Pooling your resources, you have already started development of an Agent team to ensure dominance in the Market.

[spoiler]This one is more or less for me to practice a proper tactics system for future Family Business quests[/b]

You are members of the board, and major shareholders. After the lunch and round of blowjobs from the secretaries, you are now deciding on the new name and logo of the company. The name and logo need to show the company has power, and that it can really sell.

After much debating, the majority has held. The Syndicate shall be known as Phallex ltd.

>>395723
*CHEAT BLOCKED:NEED TO BEAT GAME AT LEAST ONCE*

Phallex has $100,000 available for initial development budget

The current company housing this new Syndicate is based in the Upper Mexican region, but this place is becoming too unstable. The Castrilos is moving up from the south, and Aspari is pushing back from the north. It is best to relocate somewhere less volatile. It is recommended we offer ourselves to a region currently unchipped. This way we can gain a loyal customer base rather than using resources, and gathering attention from luring other customers away. HR has decided on three viable locations:

No. 395728 ID: 2ae337
File 133266204879.png - (57.83KB , 600x331 , Brazil.png )
395728

1)Lower Brazil: Somewhat more populated than Upper Brazil, and has a sizeable market to exploit. However, the presence of the Castrilos and Cayman Global has made this region something of a no man’s land, and there will be a large amount of unrest with the introduction of a new Syndicate. Many syndicates find this land to be prime real estate, and the existing dominant powers of Cayman and Castrillos will make any newcomers feel very unwelcome. Likewise, many unchipped locals are tired of the two superpowers fighting through their land and making life generally miserable, as is expected for those who refuse to be part of the new world. As such, they are highly resistant to any Syndicate that are trying to introduce themselves into this area will find a customer base as likely to attack their benefactors as buy their products. Expect heavy resistance if establishing here.

Roll modifiers are as follows: ( 6(chance of rival syndicate incursion), 7(chance of local rebellion),+4(Modifier to profit))

395729

2) North Korea. Still ruled by the Kim family, it is densely populated despite lack of supplies. The people, while packed into a small area to ensure large coverage, are resistant to outside influences, but they are so technologically backwards the worst they can do is petty damage to our infrastructure. Establishing the Syndicate in this region will give us a decent profit, a moderate population to supply us, and some unrest. Many people are bred to simply accept whatever propaganda is given to them and recommendations for takeover are to use this preset information distribution to our advantage. All of Tao’s attention is focused on Aspari to care about its Korean borders. There are also several other Syndicates emerging in Asia, the most noteworthy being Geld-Phau Thuat in Vietnam, and Bhagavad of India, ensuring that even if the two larger syndicates resolve their conflicts, they will deal with these prominent companies first before focusing on us. Taking over this territory gives us a foothold to take over the Mongolian territories as well.

3)Angola. Sparsely populated, and small economic value. Do not expect to gain power or wealth fast from here, but the tradeoff being that it gives us access to a population that has been mainly screened from the corporate war, and eager to join the rest of the chipped world. There will be very little resistance to establishing Syndicate headquarters here, but there will be local warlords who will not be happy with us upsetting their positions of power. Recommendation for this: placate the warlords; give them good positions in company security and such. Our closest rival will be Sphinx Inc., but they are so embroiled with Executive Jihad that no real damage will come our way for a while.

As no one else was able to decide, the Syndicate has decided to move operations to the Korean region.

Removing the current rulers and establishing the company can be done in two ways

1)Covert insertion: Assassination of government heads. Replace them with doubles that encourage selling their government into the more capable hands of Phallex. Doing so will ensure a population less aversive to the idea of the company. However, there will be more expenses incurred for all the delicate work that needs to be done. Assassinations, payoffs, buying land, and bribing locals, all detracts from the available budget. At the same time, this will also increase awareness to local Syndicates of our presence. Taking this option still has a possibility of failure and instead will start a coup, and increase hostility of the locals.(Expenses:45,000 )

2)Hostile takeover: Go in there, overwhelm them with an army only a Syndicate can buy. Disrupt enemy movements, while Agents take out key people and targets. Phallex HQ will be built over the demolished capitol. Understandably, this will increase resistance to the company, however there will be less expense involved, as most funding will go into reconstruction…which we will offer at a price. This will destroy many assets however that will delay the time taken to complete research products, but on the plus side, will delay any news of our position to Syndicates around us, as initial reports can easily confuse us as another coup between local governments and rebel fighters. This option still has a possibility of failure as the government heads may escape and establish an underground resistance, increasing local hostility slightly and attention from local Syndicates. (Expenses: 25,000)

Give the 4 Agents codenames for reference and decide their loadouts.

Agent 1:

Agent 2:

Agent 3:

Agent 4:

Commission any of these independent companies for weapons for the Agents. After the Syndicate is established, we can merge these companies with ours, provided we have the appropriate resources, and explore research options to improve their signature product.

-Kusanagi AR :Almost universally accepted rifle of the East Asian/West Americas. Has two modes of fire for different situations.(+2, +3 single shot) price: 10,000 for contract. 500 to equip agents

-PT 109: A derivative of the AK series built by a Czech company with simple materials and a simple ui interface . Cheap but about as effective as most assault rifles currently in circulation. One drawback is the inefficient cooling system, meaning certain components may start melting after several magazines if there is no break in firing.(+1) 4,000 for contract. 100 to produce

-Intuitive Solutions AiO 200s: The All in One 200 series rifle, using a block of specific compound, this weapon has a nanite core that shaves off portions to make whatever ammunition is required to one of its many weapon modes. Modes include: Assault Rifle, Shotgun, Sniper, Flame thrower, and Grenade Launcher. Because of the size of the block in the weapon, and an efficient cooling system, this gun is capable of firing for longer than any other weapon on the market before needing to stop. And if all else fails, the gun also has a ‘melee’ option, and a ‘detonate’ option. Detonate however creates a very large explosion and should only be used in dire situations, like if the Agents forgot to bring the thermite bombs. Understandably this weapon is the most expensive, and few Syndicates can afford to equip a squad of Agents, let alone a single Agent with this weapon.(+8 regardless of situation) 40,000 for contract. Additional 10,000 for each Agent equipped.

-PT AM: Taking the bare bones of the PT109, this rifle is modified to be a sniper. Still has the problems of the PT 109, namely being cheap and thus requiring time between shots to keep components from warping.(+4 from long distances only, +1 otherwise)) 4,000 for contract, 100 to produce

-Daewoo Geumsog Byeog: Double barreled pump action shot gun. Designed to be effective either aiming or shooting from the hip(i.e crap to handle regardless), this shotgun is basically ‘Fuck aim, just spray’. Holds twice as many shells to reload both barrels simultaneously. At close range, the enemy is basically faced with a wall of metal pellets. Chances of avoiding it at that range are pretty much impossible and the unfortunate can only hope their armor/cover/whatever absorbs most of it and the rest doesn’t hit anything important. (+6 ONLY in close range, +1 otherwise) 10,000 for contract, 600 to produce

-Kukui Auto-Shotgun: Developed for jungle warfare, this weapon is lightweight, and cost effective while still delivering a powerful punch to any enemy. It is a collapsible weapon capable of firing an entire magazine of shells in a matter of seconds, making this a favorite of many startup Syndicates.(+4 ONLY in close range, +1 otherwise) 8,000 for contract. 600 to produce

Each agent has one extra slot for gear. Choose from what is available

Health Kit: Chemical pack designed to aid the “Feel Good” app in the chip, with the end result of the Agent feeling absolutely no pain until the cocktail is used up.(defense modifier + 4, combat modifier + 2) x5

Grenade pack: multipurpose explosives, with explosive level that can be preset to do anything from breaching doors, clearing out a room, or piercing enemy armor. Pack includes 6 grenades.(Combat modifier + 4)

Unfortuantely we can't, the cost of the operation is 45k, the contract is 40k so even 2 guns would put us over budget.
>>
No. 395950 ID: 9e5382

I recommend two close range specialists and two long range specialists.

The close range specialists'll be equipped with Daewoos and the heath packs, while the long range specialists'll have PT AMs and grenades.

This will allow us to cover our bases in a number of ways, such as having an assault team and a sniper team, or having the close range specialists cover for the long range specialists.

And more importantly, we'll only be paying for two contracts, instead of the three as per the above suggestion. So, 15,400 for my suggestion instead of 23,700 for the above poster's suggestion.

Hmm, that's just a savings of 8,300, but who knows how much we might need for the followup.
>>
No. 395952 ID: 9e5382

Besides, 8.300 is a good 15% of the 55,000 remainder we have after paying for the covert ops.
>>
No. 395957 ID: 9e5382

The cheapest yet 'decent' alternative would be just to arm everyone with Kusanagi ARs for 12,000. They seem to be the all-round choice, without particular weaknesses or strengths. For sniping, they're actually almost as good as PT AMs, it looks like.

If it wasn't for the contract costs, I'd be advocating a more varied and balanced loadout. I'm open to counterarguments.

Agents deployed.
Note: Every person who suggests needs to role a 20d dice to determine the attack roll of the agents. The roll will apply to all agents. Modifiers will be applied afterwards depending on action taken. I will then roll against whatever suggestion had the highest roll for defense. The difference will then decide the outcome. The range will determine how successful the action was.
Attack roll applies to all action the Agents take that turn so be sure to describe the actions thoroughly.
Defense modifiers are modifiers for rolls that are taken more ‘defensively’ like holding an objective, or escorting a VIP.

The landings occur without incident. Local air control failed to pick up anything and Agents still have element of surprise. Agents have maintained radio silence until now. Livestreams show the Agents have infiltrated the Capitol and are currently at the edges of the rear of the Presidential estate.
The current plan is to stage what appears to be a kidnapping attempt and before or during the ensuring confusion, eliminate the target, and then escort ‘doubles’ to a safe location where they will be ‘rescued’ by pursuing forces.

Congratulations. With the seizure of North Korea, the company had access to the relatively chaotic and weakened sections of Northwest China and the Mongolian region.

Accounting has reported profits $22,000 from the influx of purchases. We expect 95% of the region to be chipped by the end of the year, and in about 5 years of proper advertising, will not even notice us replacing 'Korea' with 'Phallex'.

We now have an R&D department, which will let you develop new equipment and products, and a construction team to expand the HQ. Or we may use this opportunity to seize more land from rival syndicates.

You may expand territory, research new product, construct additional company assets, or negotiate merger with other companies.

Well, you could push north into Siberia and Vladivostok for more resources and since its unclaimed territory, we don't step on anyone's feet.

Current Assets

$43,300
2 Kusunagi AR
1 PT AM
1 Kukui Auto shotgun
4 Health Kits
4 Grenade packs

Japan is currently owned by Tao. After we cut off their South Korean territory from its neighbor, they are not in a talking mood.

>>396804
Doing so will alert Pravitel to our location, though the value of the region is undeniable.

Let's research! Get ahead of the pack!

Currently research options are:

Persuadatron: Interacts with the chip implanted in every person to ‘convince them’ to help agents. Effects are short term and any ‘persuaded’ individuals should be returned to Human Resources for reprogramming to provide a permanent asset to the company. (d20 dice :Civilians +15 modifier, Security +8, enemy agents +3)
Cost: $5,000

Ammunition refill 1: Extremely early stages of prototyping have created a device of acceptable size that constructs ammunition from bullet casings and other materials. Having more ammunition available will make the Agents more trigger happy, increasing chances of eliminating target from sheer amount of firepower.(Combat modifier +1)
Cost: $2,000

Cybernetics 1:Initial development of cybernetic limbs for agents. Will give agents a hardier body more resistant to bullets than their current, squishy limbs can provide.( combat modifier +3)
Cost: $ 5,000

cybernetics. has a great cost-reward ratio.

Lets get them all.

What construction options are available? Also who can we merge with at this point?
>>
No. 396967 ID: 2ae337

>>396937
Doing all 3 options will mean it will be finished after 3 attack missions.

Same with any merger.

Available mergers

Kusanagi: 40,000

Prokhor-Tatia:30,000
>>
No. 396978 ID: 886a4d

So its 1 per mission? Alright instead lets get the cybernetics first and go with the 30k merger. Any construction options we can get for the remaining 8k? Or should we save up?

Sicne thats pretty well all our cash what availiable missions are there?
>>
No. 397002 ID: 92d34d

Priority should be cybernetics due to enhancing performance and it eliminates the uncertainty of whether the other two can be applied tactically. This was demonstrated with the difficulty the team had in the first mission after being injured and carrying the target. Second should be the persuadatron. What's the need for an extra reload when your foes so helpfully supply their own, with the added bonus that the persuaded individual might be in a tactical position that isn't covered.

No. 397004 ID: ed57e8

i highly doubt enemy agents would have their chips on the same frequency.

Construction Options:

Recruiting stations:Provide a permanent +1 modifier for any defense initiative against invading competitors. Recruits more militia from local population, give them basic company package and train them with basic excercises. These people will in turn be much more inclined to protect company assets from rivals and rebels.
Cost: $5,000

Agent Training Compound: We are still a long way from producing an Agent with each recruit. Only a handful out of hundreds survive the process. This compound will allow the recruitment of 1 new Agent for every 10,000 put into the compound.
Cost: $10,000

R&D biological station: Isolated stations performinging very ‘controversial’ biological experiments, either as a weapon, supplement, or other product. Biological agents can be hazardous and thus station is equipped with a purge option to liquidate all assets within to prevent any biohazardous materials from leaving the compound. No one wants to bust their ass trying to cover up another clone rebellion. This speeds up any future research involving health kits and persuadatron. Fully upgraded will also allow research to certain questionable, but powerful biological weapons. Additionally, will produce products to increase profits by an additional 1,000
Cost: $7,000

R&D Cybernetics compound: Same thing as biological stations but working with robots and A.I. Speeds up research of robotics related equipment, while adding a 1,000 profit to territory.
Cost: $5,000

>>397004
The persuadatron goes through all possible frequencies in seconds. It searches for any possibly way in before attempting to hack.

R&D Cybernetics compound sounds good to me. If no one has any objections we should go with this for our first queue.

R&D Cybernetics compound (5k)
Cybernetics 1 (5k)
Prokhor-Tatia merger (30k)
Total 40k, lefteover 3k

I'm unsure about the Prokhor-Tatia merger. I think we need to secure our borders while taking low-hanging fruit first, like that bit of Russia that Proknor hasn't grabbed yet. Also, I feel we should negotiate in a stronger postion compared to our current one.

Instead of the merger, I suggest
Recruiting Stations (5k)
Agent Training Compound (10k)
R & D Biological Station (7k)
Ammo Refill (2k)
This should be enough to secure our borders and leave us stronger if we decide to merge.

Considering Cybernetics pays for itself in seemingly no time, and improves the speed of the research, it seems like a good start.

2nding standard loadout.
>>
No. 398870 ID: a177c4

very well. Agents are outfitted with standard loadout. However, given our lack of funds, we do not have the budget required for covert insertion.

HR has recommended either a hostile takeover, or a surgical strike. The difference being surgical strike will leave more infrastructure intact, but will pit agents against whatever armed defense that may be encountered without support.
>>
No. 398876 ID: f70e5e

there is not much infrastructure to preserve or destroy, and we can't afford to lose any agents at the moment. I say we go for a hostile takeover.

A local secessionist has seceded from the Russian Federation as Pravitel took over. He managed to take a surprising amount of Russia's war materiel before the takeover, but it is nothing the Phallex takeover unit can fix.

Combined with the North Korean support, they will provide support while the Agents hit the leader's stonghold.

However, he maintains a large personal guard and will most likely be stuck in a panic room. Recommend bringing support as Agents are not yet equipped to deal with such a large force.

Agents deployed.

The craft shakes as it makes a somewhat bumpy landing. Even after heavy shelling by the People's Liberation Freedom Army Division of Self Reliance and Superiority, the city's defenders are still very dug in. A detachment of Phallex Liquidation has managed to infiltrate the city and open enough of a 'free zone' to land near the capitol building. Their leader Crakovic is still in their and comms chatter suggests he is planning a final stand.

multi pincer. the group engaged will move right while the fresh group replaces them, we move left. then come at the hold point from three directions.

rolled 2 = 2

Squad two lays down covering fire as it moves towards the plaza.

Squad one does the same as it makes for the burned out building.

The Agents tear through the mall on the left. When all squads are in position they open fire...

The attack yields some ground but not much.

The Resistance forces fall back to the second flight of stairs, giving them a height advantage as they release a barrage of explosives. Squad 1 loses one as he is shredded by the shrapnel.

Squad2 is moving out of the building towards the wall, and the Agents are pushing forward over the remains of a machine gun nest. However they are held back when a sniper shot destroys the head of the fountain. They are being watched.
