At the cemetery the clouds above are turning a purplish orange I have seen them do that before but it is much creepier when I am in a grave yard. The wind is rustling the leaves and mist is rising up from the ground.

Mom is moving closer and so is Bokki.

I can smell something...smells good and bad at the same time like food that has just started to go bad.

Bokki whines and chants something, my clothes are replaced by a out fit in white and navy blue, with tiny green stars, arranged like the milky way.

Mom asks "Do you hear that?"

I stop and focus trying to hear. A crow caws, I can just here the traffic. It should be louder then this.

"The cars?" I ask covering my nose with my left sleeve. The rotten sweet smell is worse.

Bokki whines, an looking at his ears, I understand him somehow. "No, the flute, sounds like the un-clean dead." The twitches say.

Something grabs at my leg!

Use your mutant strength to break free. Get ready to attack as soon as you get a good look.

perhaps you don't hear it due to being a half-creature?

anyway look down, do you see what is grabbing you? don't just randomly kick. if it's something bad lift other leg and stomp on it.

Stay calm, brace yourself, and look. If it's a zombie arm or something, crush it with your other leg.

Gah! It totally is a skelleton hand. Okay, actually seeing that grab at my foot is way more creepy then I would have thought.

"Get off!" I yell, hopping up. Doing so seems to pull the rest of the corpse up out of the ground. Some sort of string seems to be tieing the bones together, coming together where it's heart should be.

As I lean over it lunges at my face with it's claws almost putting out my eye, instead it just manages to slice a line of flesh from my eye brow to my ear.

But I side my hand through it's ribs and grab at the tangle and pull, the skeleton folds up like a folding chair, and then falls apart. In my hand though is a twisting mass of threads or maybe worms.

"Tracy, we need to bandage that. Now." Mom says waving her hand in my face.

Definitely listen to Mom. She sounds like she knows something's up. Also ask the others if they can identify a source for the music.

Looks like you really should be careful around the craves. Try not to stand directly over them.

okay you know their weakness, but you need to be able to do it without them being able to hurt you. can you use magic to increase healing speed?

"You don't want to get blood in your eye. Trust me on this." Mom says, wrapping a bandage around my head. I can tell she wants to freak out. She's crying a little, it doesn't show in her voice, but I can see the tears.

Wait.."Mom, behind you!" I yell, as Bokki barking "Look out".

Before we even finish, mom has spun around and crushed its chest and dislokated its arms.

But the wierd worm like string is already pulling the pieces together even as mom stomps on it.

I see at least too more coming closer in the fog.

"Mom you go get those other two, I'll finish this guy off." I say grabbing another hand full of black winding string.

the fact you can grab the strings but mom's attacks seem to not do much makes me think you can see it due to your heritage.

Huh. Time to double team. Mom can probably wreck them enough so that you can safely pull their strings apart.

You'll want to track down the source of all this, so ask Bokki if he can hear anything that suggests where that source might be. Or use your nose.
