Purgatory;
1. A state or place in which the souls of those who have died in a state of grace are believed to undergo a limited amount of suffering to expiate their venial sins and become purified of the remaining effects of mortal sin.

This is clearly both the best and the only logical course of action.

>I don't remember a single thing. Do you mind bringing me up to speed?
He sighs heavily.
"This only makes the process longer.
I really can't tell you much beyond that a.) you are dead and b.) you were a Russian immigrant named Yeva in life. But the latter is useless information now."
>You look sad, may I hug you?
"No.
No, you may not."

>How do I return to life?
"It's a secret. Figure it out yourself."
>How did I die?
"I can't tell you, that'd be cheating"
>Well what now?
"You begin the trails. You need to know how and why you died then you can move on.
Open your inventory. That's your pipe in the first slot. Whenever you need a break or a tip for the trials, use it and I'll teleport you back here.
Anything else before you begin?"

"Yes you can take that."

"Thank you, I like it too."

That's your pipe, safe and sound... You hope.
>So what are the 'rules' of these trails?
"You yourself must find out what happened, who you were, and come to terms with it. Beyond that everything is free game.
Oh, yes. Be careful."

Well, get up, poke around in the desk, and read the signs.

>Oh, yes. Be careful.
Wait, we're already dead. What do we have to be careful of? Are their possible fates worse than death here, Death? Death? Deeeeaaaath!?

Well your in a hospital or doctors office. Check the desk in front of you for anything interesting. Maybe an appointment book will have your name in it.

>Search desk
Two of the drawers open easily.
The top has a locked book titled 'names', a stapler, and a pen.
The bottom drawer has a piece of paper with 'beware' written on it. Under the warning has a crudely drawn picture of what looks like a spider with five legs.
To the right are three locked drawers all with strange looking locks.
So tomorrow I'm heading off to be with family, so this may or may not be last update until friday. So Happy Holidays guys.

Beware must have been the crippled spider you adopted! Get book, stapler, and pen.

Then go ask that strange, duck-like creature next to the staircase if it knows where to find Beward. He must be lonely and hungry what with you dying and all.

We apparently need to open those drawers, go to the first exam room and look for a key.

Well the 'beware' message seems to refer to that spider in the archway to the right. So, I guess, don't get too close to it. What's the poster on the wall say, and the plaque on the front of the desk?
