Lets hide in the mountains so we aren't clearly visible and stop for now. Pity we don't have a camouflage ability, beyond just covering ourselves with mountain bits.

Once we're settled we should activate stairs and internal lights\communication and ask the people to send out scouts to look for nearby resources that they could use. I bet there are useful ores in the mountains. Maybe even something that can feed us energy beyond waiting for more souls.

several subsystems make use of several materals other then Uranite, copper and silicon are in component parts for the Uranite object growth system, having extra would allow us to repair the system more effectively instead of shredding those components into atoms and rebuilding them

I'm not sure pickaxes are a good idea. Manual mining is very slow. How about we skip straight to making weapons from uranite? Spears, swords, shields, chainmail. Also a bunch of tools for various tasks. Can we make guns? If not I suppose someone can go harvest lumber to carve into bows or crossbow limbs. The stiff parts of a crossbow can be made from uranite, though weight concerns are an issue. How lightweight is uranite?

this leads to how it is used in the mk 3 combat city, overall it has been preset to a balance strength and lightness, unfortunantly being light applies a 'soft cap' on the streagth and durability it can provide without active power circulation. the secondary mini core this 'enemy' as you call it has been placed into acts as an automated energy circulator, causing the left arm to be be lighter and stronger. you could maximize strength to the peak if you actively use main core energy but safety measures are installed to autoadjust the settings of things such as weight to prevent catastrophic failure due to the square cube law doing things like snapping the legs off, current power required to maximize body strength without breaking is....4900 energy an hour.

How far is it? Also, now that we have a choice as to what method of locomotion we use, what is the most efficient for distance traveled? the oil nut is like a coconut, but when cracked open it is full of oil instead of the normal milky fluid. by default it is a very crude sort of oil but can be refined. the most amazing part is that if you 'water' the seed with a refined oil it will grow a tree that produces that particular kind. the downside is only normal trees produce seeds.

your last meeting with them was amicable, and several years ago. they also still had their jogger elder, but you can't assume anything. you should be able to talk to them easily enough, but getting them to give you a seed for the oil nut tree will be difficult if not impossible. you can tell from the shape of the mountain around their cave they are not also in a giant robot, not enough room.

reproduction is somewhat complicated. usually we only need the first step, is the removal, the two people that wish to do so approach the crucible and after filling the limb with as much energy as they can, they rip it off and drop it into the crucible, both of them. the arms then swirl together forming a proto person, if enough mass and energy is in there then the coded genetics will ignite the soul energy into a true soul and it will become a child with only their genetic memory.

the second step is needed to produce a child of a longer lived variant, the sacrifice. the parents to be after the removal will then focus their energy on the crucible, reinforcing the soul structure, causing it to use the alternate code we carry and the child will be that kind. the problem is it is always 100% deadly to the parents. they have to give too much to make something different.

Since we've only got one husk to work with, let's throw all but 10 of our stockpiled energy (to slam the door with, in case of emergency) into a big soul crystal. Unless that wouldn't be big enough to plausibly carve crucible-sized chunks out of, in which case hold off and proceed toward the colony ship for dark matter as previously scheduled.

Don't desperately need a population boom while they're all stuck inside a fixed-size hab dome, anyway. Recreating walkers can wait.

From what we know the only way to damage them is with your tech so tossing rocks won't work. Personally I favor running towards the turret. We know we're near its activation range so take advantage of that! If we can, hit it with soul net right as it gets shot. Or if it gets shot but doesn't die we can finish it off with the soul net active.

Try walking around, maintaining a respectful distance and avoiding overt threatening behavior. Colony ship perimeter defenses are presumably designed to deal with this kind of thing, so if we can make it there without a confrontation it becomes someone else's problem.

If it picks a fight with us... feasibility estimate on rapidly extruding a hair-thin ultratensile uranite fiber, positioned as a tripwire, to literally cut it off at the knees just before it closes to fist range? If that works, or some other trick can be arranged to render it prone, simply stomp on the head and/or chest while deploying soul net.
