I haven't been here long...I've been here two years. I think. That's not too long...is it?

Do my parents miss me? I want to go home, but I don't even know where I am.

I feel sick. It's almost time for them to bring me my meal.

I know it'll be drugged.

I can't....just not eat....
That's the only way I'll get food, and I don't think they care if starve.

>>Also what's is your name?

My name is Liam. I'm 12 years old.

The right thing to do right now is to look for possible ways out. What are your options? Survey your surroundings. Do you have anything in your pockets? Your leg looks hurt... can you walk? Who are your captors?

What kind of drugs? What do they do slash how do they make you feel?

>I don't even know where I am.
What do you know about this place, though? How did you get here?

My room has a window and a door; the door is locked and the window is barred. The only time it's opened is when the feed me and when they retrieve me after I eat.

>> Do you have anything in your pockets?
I have a toothpick.

>>Your leg looks hurt... can you walk?
Oh yes I can...Thank you for your concern. It's just a scratch from where I got my foot caught on a loose floorboard.

They put me to sleep. I don't know what happens while I'm asleep but I wake up hurt.

>> Who are your captors?
>>What do you know about this place

They call themselves a cult. And I know this place is sort of like a camp. There's other kids here too, I think. I don't know why, but I hear them talking about a god, and vessels....Whatever that means.

>>How did you get here?

.....I don't want to talk about it.

>They put me to sleep. I don't know what happens while I'm asleep but I wake up hurt.
They do this every day? That's a lot of... whatever it is they're doing to you.

>They call themselves a cult.
Well things aren't going great if they're that up front about it.

>I have a toothpick.
A potential tool or weapon, if not a very durable one.

Overall, it doesn't look like you have many options. You could try to get out the door when you're fed, but that's a pretty bad route of escape. They'd expect someone to try that, and they'd know when you did. You can let yourself be drugged, or you can starve yourself.

Was the loose floorboard in this room? Maybe that's a way out. Although maybe you should wait until they deliver the food, so they don't catch you trying to break out. And the tray might be something you could use to pry the lose floor up. (I assume they don't serve plates- too easy to break and make improvised weapons).

Silly question. Is that butterfly or moth actually there?

Every other day; I'm not fed daily. I think they do it so I don't struggle. But I always wake up with cuts. Patterns, like moths or butterflies. They don't heal like they should.

This could be a plan...

>>Silly question. Is that butterfly or moth actually there?

Yes! She's very real...Her name is Ariana and she's been with me since I first came here. She's nothing but real.

So, you got a butterfly pet as soon as you came here, and the cultists are giving you butterfly scars? These two things seem related somehow. Plus, butterflies and moths do not live that long. She's special, somehow. I don't suppose she can talk?

Has the cult stated what they are a cult of or anything like that?

Is that a name you gave her, or does she have some way of communicating? For that matter, does she eat anything?

put your sleeves over your hands and grab the loose board and pull it.

She told me her name.
She talks to me a lot....tells me stories and sings to me. She reminds me of my mother sometimes. She also likes to help me so it's not unusual. I just assume she has friends who talk to me too.

...I've never seen her eat.

That sounds....really smart. I should try that.

But what if they catch me? Should I still wait?
>>

pull it up so its loosened and easily moveable, then put it back down. check if anyone is coming, then open the board and go down and see if you can pull the board down after you so it didn't look like it was moved.

Arianna seems worried by the prospect.

What's her problem?
>>

Lift up the floorboard and excavate some space underneath it. Hide the food there, so it looks like you've eaten. When they come for you afterward, pretend to be asleep.

Turn around, and act like you usually do when they deliver your food. Hopefully that will serve to deflect suspicion.

It's not like they caught you escaping, or pulling the board up. Just with your back to the door.
>>

Does the butterfly always disappear when someone comes?
>>
No. 589976 ID: 6cb462

Might be meal time. Do they usually watch and wait until you finish eating and get drugged up? We'll probably need to think of a way to get him out if that is the case.

Worst case scenario, we could probably at least see what happens to you after you are put to sleep and report what happens after you've awaken (don't want to do that though)
>>

Or alternatively you could jump, yell and flail in panic as he slammed the door open, Making you seem a lot less...able, and in your little 'panic' you could sit on the board so they won't see it.
