A blue woman has come to your land to settle, she is capable of woodcrafts and songs.
Your land has wild beasts, running water, a lake, trees and fish.
Mortals require food, shelter and higher purpose.

Begin.

Make the cottage near the river, and have them fish for food. Or I guess hunt beasts. For higher purpose...I dunno, have them worship you? Or maybe teach them some kind of self improvement stuff, or guide them to enlightenment or something.

Wait, where does the river begin? Observe the fish populations and build nets and other traps to obtain a steady supply of fish.

What powers do we have as a spirit?

Let's act subtly, not forcefully command or override what she wants. Influence her dreams, give her visions of taming the wild beasts. Use our power to make that feasible; not trivial, but very feasible. When she has succeeded with domestication, give her dreams of music to inspire songs and meaning.

Mistake. She should have the reptilian subtype.

Tiny non sapient spirits that make up souls.

>What does Spiritual Toughness do?
Toughness -1 HP x # of dedicated Wisps

>What's the difference between Warrior and Soldier, and what does a Spirit Shaper do?
The difference between a Warrior and Soldier is similar to the difference between a Barbarian and a Samurai.

Spirit Shapers get more wisps and spirit shapes.

Nice, so she can get a bunch of hp. Hmm. Let's make her a Soldier, so she can use that hp to tank for the party. Soldier is an aggro management class, right? If not, go for Warrior instead since if there's no aggro management a lightly armored fighter needs all the hp it can get.

Keep trying to make basic tools to aid in fishing. Maybe a fishing spear? Just gotta sharpen a long stick for that. After that we should try making tools to process wood, like an axe and a knife. Then make something resembling a shelter. If we can't do it with wood, then a stone or brick shelter could work. You can make clay bricks with a simple stone oven.

...oh we need to work on getting fire, too. I presume I don't have to explain primitive fire starting methods to these folks.

You are the spirit of prosperity in this land. You can attempt to influence mortals but you cannot manifest physically. If the land is cultivated properly and the subjects of the land are happy and fulfilled you will become more powerful. One day you may rival the power of a Jinushigami, but at the moment if you were to risk your life and manifest your power would only be that of a lowly Shikigami.

This isn't going to end well if it comes to a fight. I recommend evacuating and letting the bandits loot what meager valuables there are in the camp, which is almost nothing. Then afterwards just rebuild what was damaged, and seriously get some food you guys. Consider taking down one of the large animals that has strayed from the flock. Get some stone spears and attack all at once and it shouldn't be too hard. Then you'll have some bones and hide which you can use for various useful things.

Begin work on the forge once the bandits clear out. When they come back you can be more prepared. When the forge is complete and you have some basic weapons, start work on a stone wall. The tiny woodland there doesn't look like there are enough trees to make a wooden wall. Maybe someone can scout out more of the surrounding area and find more trees.

...I wonder if we can manifest at night to scrounge up some extra food? That seems to be a major problem right now.

Corrections: The should say "Aristocrat Secondary Classes".

And you also have a singular stone axe in addition to the equipment already listed.

If our group is approaching under cover of night then we can manifest to aid them. Tutei specifically seems to be requesting our aid so let's speak to them first, if we can.

Is there any advantage to not choosing a subclass?
Please give a basic description of the various subclasses mentioned.

Is there some source of information for this RPG system or is it homebrew?

>Please give a basic description of the various subclasses mentioned.
Rogue (Overview) - Rogues have at least 6 skill ranks per level and tend to being very good as social or dungeon specific skill sets. They often (but not always) have some form of burst damage.
Rogue (General) - Good at spotting and disarming traps, can sometimes use poison, stabs people in the back real good.
Mesmerist - A psychic rogue. Master of enchantment. A mesmerist is an execellent buffer/debuffer at all levels.
Vigilante - Two identities. One dedicated to stabbing people in the back and the other to social manipulation.

Psychic (Overview) - Psychic magic is the primary source of quick healing, divinitation and undead creation in the setting.
Psychic (General) - Master of psychic magic, has a broad spell selection and plenty of ability to manipulate their spells further.
Medium - Master of versatility, on any given day the medium can become a powerful warrior, soldier, rogue, psychic or soul shaper, but they will never be as powerful as those who devoted their lives to these paths. High leveler mediums can share most of their boons with their allies, making them a great end game support class.
Mesmerist - Master of enchantment. A mesmerist is an execellent buffer/debuffer at all levels, but is less versatile than other psychics.
Occcultist - A versatile master of magic who's adoption of artifacts leads to a more semi-permanent specialization than that of the medium, but is rewarded with good secondary diviniation abilities.
Spiritualist - A pet class that can summon phantoms still bound to this world. Good for crowd control, or if you always wanted a stand.

Aristocrat Secondary Classes - More or less watered down versions of standard classes that allow the aristocrat to keep their later level social manipulation.
Vigilante - Secondary class focuses on stabbing people in the back, or face.
Cabalist - Secondary class focuses on necromancy and other less than reputable magic. This psychic magic unlike it's Pathfinder counterpart.
Psychometrist - Basically a weaker Occultist.
Warlock - This secondary classes focuses on magic based DPS. This psychic magic unlike it's Pathfinder counterpart.
Zealot - This secondary class focuses on buff/debuffing with magic. This psychic magic unlike it's Pathfinder counterpart.

>Is there some source of information for this RPG system or is it homebrew?
Pathfinder RPG
-Arcane and Divine Magic
+Magic of Incarnum (3.5)
+5e style "treating all weapons from asia as martial weapons similiar to their european counterparts instead of exotic weapons"
+About 215 other house rules that would be tedious for you to all to read.

>Is there any advantage to not choosing a subclass?
Classes with no subclasses tend to be more flexible, and on similiar power level to classes with subclasses. One of the reason the Aristocrat's system is refered to as a secondary class is that if you were to abstain choosing that option would give no benefit. Hence it not being listed.
Soldier (No Subclass) would be equivalent to Fighter (from Pathfinder RPG, whereas this system's fighter is similiar to it's Warrior NPC class), with more skill points, better saves and most of the martial flexibility class feature for example.

'General' here means 'no subclass' and not 'applying to all'.

I think Tutei should be a Spiritualist as we could use the crowd control, and he seems more attuned to us (a spirit) so it makes sense character-wise too.

Zhou seems like a social expert at heart so he can be a Vigilante.

Suraj has balanced stats and should make a good Psychometrist.
