Port-Scum, hands down. Is there any other scoundrel more reviled and unjustly abused by the world? And is there any with more determination to take revenge upon all things than one who has been given only that which births her suffering and exponentiates it with every morsel of joy she can find for herself?

If so, then there is something wrong in the world and it's her job to fix it.

You are A Port-Scum Scoundrel!
You begin with 40 Gold in your purse
Now we are ready to begin our adventure, arriving in the comfortably quaint oasis of Nyaguru, where the hardy inhabitants harvest sweet fruits and grains, shield from
the brutal sun by the palms. Since the new Eastern Empire began it's excevations into the ancient ruins, it's experienced a boon in trade from adventurers, prospectors
and sorcerers, with new shops and houses growing in this previously small town. A kindly pilgrim points out the major areas here as you enter town
You've arrived 3 hours before the setting sun hides in the sandy abyss, where would you like to go to prepare for your quest into The Tomb of Karashuu?
Spending time at any place will take the majority of an hour
The Market Street!
Site of the towns biggest growth, there's plenty of places to buy, eat, and thieve. This is nothing like the grand markets and fairs of the Jewel of the West, but for
an enterprising scoundrel as yourself, you simply can't let the oppurtunity go fully to waste!
The Pub!
I...do they actually call them pubs here? Tea-rooms? The place to dissolve my sins? Ah, but whatever the name, it is a place of merriment, shenanigans, and shit-
starting! Here I can find lodgings, drink (even if better to forget than to taste!) and hench-ah, allies to hire! Also an excellent place to learn the lay of the land
and the local politics!
The Temple
Ah, the halls of Ngobryn cast their condescending shadow in all places, but small and weak in this place, practically a place for ball games than a grand cathedral. It
is, regardless of their opinions on all of your extra-curicullar activities, an excellent source for healing, miracles, and prepared powers
The Tinker
Apparently, a polymath of my home city came out all this way to tinker, watch stars, and drink before the boom, and makes a nice penny on making interesting inventions
The Old Witch
There's apparently a sorcerer of the olden ways living at the edge, watching the fish in her pond and the stars in the sky. The pilgrim was cagey on her, but she either sounds scary or a riot
Wander the Houses and Groves
Your old instincts for casing a joint, even the only town in fuck-off walking distance and piss-off camel distance, never dulls within you, and speaking with the
roughs and the maids is worth more than any fancy gear. It can be a gamble, though - in a town this small, you maybe penned as an intruding outsider they'd rather just
shekel and drachma than hand over the sweet, sweet gossip any good women-of-ill-means needs
