You're name isn't Bill.

So you owe a couple of people some money, big deal. You can only keep your financial independence intact for so long in this awful city. Yeah, alright, you're a dog, but whatever. So's everybody else. Probably.

You've got to come up with >B220,000 (that's two hundred and twenty thousand bippies). So your job's not STELLAR.

You just arrived home. Where's home? A mold-covered single-bedroom apartment in the Purple District. That's the second worst district in New Guspy.

Your girlfriend Suzma is sitting on the couch flipping through a magazine about cool places to visit.

"Anything?" she says.

"Nope," you reply. Of course she's talking about how you just spent all day looking for a way to get out of debt. No luck obviously. Yesterday a guy came by asking when you'd have the money ready and he made it sound an awfu lot like you were going to disappear if you didn't have the money in one month. Suzma has always been very supportive of you, even after the whole debt thing. You've got a few options.

[1] Go talk to Lig at the junkyard. He buys stolen goods.
[2] Go talk to Yelbat at the club. He buys drugs.
[3] Go talk to doggyluv69 online. He does ??? but pays well so you hear.

2.

Also, look for your debtors' families, sell them into rape-slavery, and then boast in their faces when they dare to charge 100% interest. And then rip their limbs off in self defense.

First off go see what doggyluv's all about; knowing all our options well can help us before we get into anything TOO illegal(?). Secondly do you have either the Knowledge on the art of Drugmaking or any talent of thievery? Because if neither that really limits us.

1, Lig sounds like a safe bet.

Between you and Suzma, you have some amount of skill that might help you. You're not a career criminal, but you are a supervisor at a luxury furniture warehouse owned by the Pyumizy Corporation. If some of the inventory went missing inexplicably, you might be able to account for it somehow at work. Suzma works at a pesticide manufacturing plant owned by the Pandh Group, and knows a little bit about chemistry. She could probably cook up some lucrative rave drugs with supplies from her workplace.

You head over to Lig's junkyard in the Tawny District. The banner of the Dantos Company hangs over the rusted gate.

"Evening," says Lig. He's less than happy that you appear to have neither money nor scrap to sell. "What are you after?"

"I'm wondering if you," you start to talk, but look over your shoulder. There are some convenient voice activated transaction terminals posted around the scrapyard used for exchanging goods and services, but these devices also record and transmit audio to Loss Prevention Centers at the Dantos Company. "I was wondering if you'd be interested in buying some furniture."

"What kind?" asks Lig.

"Good stuff," you say, "new stuff."

"If I can resell it, I'll buy it. Just make sure it's not full of bedbugs," says Lig. Bedbugs are slang for tracking chips placed in company merchandise. These are deactivated when merchandise is purchased.

What about "purchasing" them in storage, or in transit if possible? If we could get a scanner and fool it by thinking a payment has been made, only problem then is moving the goods unseen. And without questions of course.

Bet they're deactivated by any old EMP, really.

Jiggle your merch for any bedbugs that might rattle?

It's a deal then, maybe show him the inventory before you go on a big heist for a mahogany chair but at the last second he says he isn't interested in chairs.

Also dont worry about bedbugs, you'll bark and scare them away. Put on your scary eyebrows and bork to demonstrate this.
