I’m not certain what the arbiters are trying to do… I’m not even sure how they managed to move that much magic and store it without it exploding in their face… And I’m still not certain about the mages, although they don’t seem to be on the arbiters' side.

That tree is too far away, but there is another tree that is closer!

I’m not at the top of the Tree, but At least those stupid dogs will not be able to catch me… Although now they are just there, barking at me... again...

Some hours have passed since I left, And I feel the sun should start rising soon. From up here I can see that I’m close to Thalia’s house, at least I remember the shop and the library, so I didn’t get lost… too much, but now these dogs are making it impossible for me to just get there, still I think it will be better if I arribe before Thalia Wakes.

…After many consecutive jumps I made it… and those dogs seem to have stopped following me… It had been a long time since I had to use that much magic… I even feel a bit exhausted.

Well, I made it back to Thalia’s house. I sneaked in through the room on the third floor… The window is slightly open, just as I left it. Then I go down stairs to the second floor and enter Thalia’s room… She’s still asleep, and Serra too… It’s hard to tell if that dog has noticed me or not… from the window I can see the skies getting clearer… the sun must be starting to rise, but the wall outside makes it impossible to see.

Well, I better get to cleaning… I didn’t do much before leaving, but it could take like… 3 hours to clean all this room… and I will need a bucket of water too, but that will have to be for later.

… Now that I have a lot of time to think… I feel there are many things that need to be done, yet I don’t really know how I’m going to do them…

There is that arbiters - mages kind of war going on, with apparently a ton of magic involved, and I don’t really know what’s happening. I guess my best bet for now, is trying to avoid it, unless I really need to do something. Still, it is very worrying. It makes me wonder how much of what happened with that artifact was planned or not…

Which reminds me that I also need to become stronger… I’m not sure if I would be able to defend myself if I needed to right now, let alone Thalia. For that I would need to see what I have and what I could improve, although It could take some time. I will need to practice a lot too because, to be fair, I don’t really know my limits right now.

And, unless I'm missing something, last but not least: there is Thalia’s situation, I promised to help her with that, but we still need to get some anesthetics, to see if they could work, before trying to use that method on her for real. And I also would need to find a place in which do the treatment without the risk of it being interrupted too.

I say we work on trying to help Thalia first. Which means hunting for supplies when we have time.

Alright, supplies… priority would be anesthetics, but if I find some other useful stuff, perhaps I could also take it... although, I may have some troubles carrying some stuff right now…

By the light coming from the window, I would say the sun is already out of the horizon… And I barely did much to clean this room…

It seems Thalia is waking up… She sits on her bed… and starts making cracking noises that bring back some bad memories and make me worry that she may be hurt, only to notice that she seems to be fine.

Serra, although barely moving from her position, turns its head and waves Its tail.

She grabs me, and before we exit the room I decide to ask her something.

“Thalia, before we get down, do you know anywhere we could get anesthetics?”

“… until yesterday, I didn’t know those even existed… but maybe a doctor who lives nearby sells those?"

Well… we got a lead now… Maybe Thalia can tell me more later

We exit the room and go downstairs, followed by Serra, that seems to be abnormally impatient. It seems her caretakers are still on their room.

We arrive to the dining room, Thalia leaves me on a chair in a corner, slightly hidden, then she gets to work, putting water in a heater, and preparing the table… She also prepares a fourth cup.

Once her other caretaker arrives, they all exchange good mornings, and start breakfast. She also leaves a bowl on the floor with food in it, and Serra also starts eating.

Some time passes, but then suddenly Thalia looks at me… With her eyes suddenly bright… and then She Talks to her caretakers.

“… Will I be at the Shop today?”

“Actually, I think you should practice more on your craft, so we wanted you to be at the workshop for now.”

“I won’t be able to watch over your work right now; I’ll be tending the shop until your fath… until Sebastian comes back from discussing something with our provider… so If you want to do something else until then, you can.”

“Alright, I will go into the workshop now!”

“… O-ok Dear…”

After seemingly ending her breakfast, Thalia gets up of the table, grabs me and we go into another room… I thought the dining room also acted as a workshop, but in this other room seems to have some tools too, less than the previous room, but with everything seemingly prepared, and many boxes with fabric and other materials.

“I was thinking… and suddenly I got an idea. You are going to be around, and I still need to practice So… I thought, that maybe I could do something for you… Would you like that?”

“What do you have in mind?”

“Like… a dress or something… for you…. I never did something this small, but I think I would be able to do something… I already got something in mind, if you want to see it, or maybe you could describe me what would you like for me to make… Of course… if you want to…”

Draw and/or describe something for Menno to wear, or if you want, you can see what Thalia’s idea was. OR, you can choose to not make any changes and leave Menno as it is.

Take into consideration that whatever Menno wears, could affect their capabilities in some way. For example, having some small bags could help Menno carry some small items, like small keys, more easily, although it could be a bit noisier. There may be some other stuff you could do, so if you want to be creative go for it.

If you have any doubts, you can ask in Questdis, and I’ll try to answer as fast as I can.
