Hello my name is Amara and, as I have been told, I am an unusual young woman. I am an orphan and no one where I live is willing to say the same story. I have been told three different different stories by the people in my town.
> That my parents died in a house fire that engulfed the entire home, except for my bassinet.
> That my nanny killed my parents. She then killed herself out of guilt.
> That my father killed my mother in a fit of rage shortly after I was born. I apparently didn’t look like him when I was born. Soon after he killed himself for not believing my mother that she never cheated.

I am not sure, especially considering that there are no graves for my parents. Of course I don’t even know my last name so...

I see... So what is it that you do in your... Come to think of it we really don't know that much about you other than your parents are dead and there are three different stories of what happened. Mind telling us more about yourself?

I am 19 years old and the only way I know this is that the towns people, mainly the women, let me stay with them until I hit puberty around 13. At that point I have lived in a house I borrowed from our mayor who actually was willing to let me have it without paying rent( I have no clue why). I work at a bakery every other day and occasionally I work at a bookstore. I have a huge scar that runs across my collarbone and down my back. I have no clue how I got it. And I am very petite and curvy.

Sounds like you might get hit on by the young men of the village. So what are you doing now then? Is the Bakery doing well, it seems a lot of the people want to take care of you... Seems a little odd.

I do get taken care of a lot, but the men actually avoid me.

Hmm...

It sounds like they actually fear you for an unspecified reason. Have you ever looked into your birth? Like maybe there would be a record of the births in your town. What kind of town is it anyway?

I have tried to look up my birth records but all the records for the year I was born are gone. Like every record; births, deaths, and how many people moved in/away. This town is by a port so we have plenty of business.

That seems a little fishy...

Did you ever make an inquiry as to what happend to the records for the year you were born? It's more than a little odd given the nature of your birth, I mean a whole YEAR of records just, gone? Something tells me this wasn't some secretary accidentally doing a misfile... Something smells like a cover up, the question is, why?

While we consider this mind telling me about your world? So you live in port town, is it in a kingdom or democracy? What kind of technology do people have?

The mayor told me that someone broke in and stole them which could happen easily. Cause where I live is below where our records are kept. The record keeper is old and has been getting sick lately so I might take over his job. We live in a kingdom but funny enough we have never had any royals visit us. And what is technology?? I’m currently helping the bakery with the daily early morning baking.

My days vary. Some days I work at the bakery and others I work at the bookstore. On the days that I work at the bakery I start at dawn making bread and any special orders we have, once they are done and packaged I run them to our customers who can’t pick them up. There is a mother, her name is Madhava, she has three kids and her husband is a farmer. They get three loaves of bread weekly. Then there is an old man, Alastair, who is unable to walk long distances anymore and I visit him every other day. He actually trades books and gets bread. Then my last delivery is to the mayor’s mom, Agafya, who gets bread every other day and was my main caretaker when I was younger. By the time my delivery’s are done it is noon. I head back to the bakery to clean the dishes and serve any customers who come in until we close, at around three. On the days that I work at the bookstore I come in around ten and start by collecting the books for delivery, usually only to Agafya and Alastair. Then I go back to the bookstore and sell books to people visiting. And I take in shipments for the store, My boss, Verlin, is in charge of putting them away. I get off around five usually with a stack of books to read. Most nights I forget to eat and so I usually don’t make dinner.

Some people like to go to bed after a meal and a story... What are your favourite types of food and story?

I suppose the important question is, are you happy with your life, despite the unanswered mystery of your origin? Do you care about the people around you?

It helps reading if the updates stand out from the suggestions. If you're not using images to do that, one easy way is to put a little bit of text in the subject field. Even just a single character works. ("@" has been done before as an update marker, for example).

Technology is the collection of techniques, skills, methods, and processes used in the production of goods or services or in the accomplishment of objectives, such as scientific investigation.
for example an oven in a bakery.
