>Shenzi's body and her crew are the first to arrive at Kadage, You wait at the gate for the others to catch up...

Liver - So Shenzi, You've been duped into following a kobold? How far you've fallen...

Onion - I don't think it's that bad, Miss Eadoo seem's nice.

Bacon - Yeah mistress is a great captain~

Liver - Of course you'd agree with her, "Puppy dog".

>Bacon blushes profusely

Onion - yeah haha... is that the name she gave you? Oh I wonder if Eadoo will rename us as well? She did give Curd a new name.

Liver - Anything's better than liver if you ask me, but I hope I don't get anything degrading or worst yet, a human name. *sigh* Shenzi your naming convention sucked okay?

Bacon - Maybe we could stay a little while longer this time, it's nice here...

Onion - Mistress is very kind, I'm sure she'll let us if we ask... Oh maybe she'll buy me some clothes?!

Liver - You don't deserve clothes...

Onion - But... They stare, I hate it!

Bacon - So what are we doing back here anyways?

Liver - Yeah, Why are we in this town again! I take it it's not your doing Shenzi, what's that little kobold up to? Are we going to sell those pelts we stole? Cause you did say we'd get a better price in AnorOtawa.

Onion - Mistress Eadoo seems smart, let's not doubt her.

Liver - Are we still gonna steal that treasure from the elves or what? Cause now the bold sports a crown and calls herself king, we're not sounding much like bandits anymore are we?

Onion - Hehee~ Maybe we're knights now?

Bacon - Bloody sun-warriors? Hahaa oh that would be the day...

Liver - Ha! as if~

>Banzai gives them a burning glare and they all get very quiet fast.

Banzai - Hold your tongues you runts, to think you'd mock the sun warriors, have you no shame?

>A cold wind passes over them as they mostly look away...

Banzai - you've overwhelmed Shenzi, she hasn't been able to answer at all... Go ahead~

First things first. We sell anything unneeded, then buy things according to how important they will be.
First is weapons and/or armor, at the least we can make do with banded leather if we can't afford mail or steel plated.
Second is food and medicine. Preferibly that which lasts a while, such as jerky or other dried things.
Lastly, if there is any leftover money, we may allow you to buy something that catches your eye, like a trinket. As a gift.
>>
No. 545817 ID: 9ddf68

hey how does this sound for new names

If you kill the next thing that tries to kill us you can get it's name. For example if you kill a bandit you can call yourself bandit, kill a bear and you're now bear, take down a dragon and you get the idea.

But yeah sell anything that we don't really need and then buy some armor and weapons and supplies. If you lot think we need anything else speak up now or get going.
>>

Well, if Kadage is friendly or neutral to you guys, >>545798 is fine. But if it is not you may want to wait for the rest, then give martin some money and get him to buy the stuff for you. You'll use less money that way.
>>
No. 545936 ID: c62c7b

Well Banzai should handle any sales we make as he's a very capable merchant who will know what's good to unload here and what's better to hold onto for another town. After that he should handle budgeting our money according to priority. We're here for medical attention for any who still need it first (do or die time on un-knifing Shenzi since we need the wound looked at? She may be ready), then supplies we'll need for a long journey next (trail ration foods like jerky and trail mix, potatoes onions etc - Bacon should help Banzai here), then any armor or weapons we feel might be upgrades (Martin, Shenzi and maybe Liver should give their opinions here), then comfort items (like clothes lol), and finally a little r&r if it's in our budget (see what everyone wants to do).

Oh, and at some point we need to work on winning Liver over a little more. Banzai or Shenzi may have advice. I'm also curious about these sun warriors. We should ask Banzai when we're alone so our ignorance doesn't give us away - or ask Shenzi. May be something there to help cement the loyalty of our gnolls and maybe start building a reputation.

Ooh oh yeah that's right! Oh and as far as names go I think everyone should pick their own unless that weakens Eadoo's authority somehow (choosing names might be part of a leader's duties in gnoll society). If that's the case I say stick with what they have since I'm used to these now, until they earn a new one during our travels.

Liver - That sounds like a good naming convention, honestly much better than, the last food Shenzi ate. *sigh* And the pun... Last course, that follows our trace...

Bacon - to be honest I don't mind bacon, and I don't see myself killing anything better than a ham, I wouldn't want to be called pig or sow... Bacon will do for me.

>>545848
Banzai - Kadage is not a bad place for strangers, this town has not seen reinforcements from the knights in many years, Dwarfs and Elves has found home in these walls. But we monsters are not fully welcome... Not yet...

>>545936
Banzai - Liver is right demon, the pelts we stole would sell much better beyond the forest. but we can sell them here at a fair price, perhaps three or four gold pieces for the lot. We could make six to the elves of AnorOtawa, but the princesses castle is clear north from here... Perhaps it would be wise to stock up on cash, I myself have some to spare, Quite a bit might I add, and would help my mistresses voyage... And if you're looking for a doctor perhaps we're in luck, only just a few days ago an alchemist was here, maybe, just maybe she's still around.

>>545938
>>545946
>You whisper to Banzai about the sun warriors...

Banzai - Oh demon... Demon that infests my dear sister... you can stop this charade. Men, surely you've noticed, this is not Shenzi.

Liver - Figured.

Onion - oh... and here I thought she changed.

Banzai - Ah! but watch your tongues, she still listens... No her body is possessed by our mistresses demonic companion, and a good thing if you ask me, My vile sister needs punishment! And his company is not unwanted, you are a good person, Demon, friend... You want to know about the sun warriors. Well for that you should know that we gnolls back in our homeland, had two... err... what you would call gods. Saoul, the moon, our beloved goddess, her presence brings guidance and her night brings life, the desert lights up with prey and cold, we lived during our goddess night. And Yurra, the benevolent sun. He gives life where the night cannot... And by his long waved sword he punishes those who err from the right path, his is a furry of justice. Gnolls are always born in the moon light, Saoul gives us life and we are grateful of her night. But sometimes, rarely Yurra chooses a gnoll as his son. And this boy, born in the day, is his sun warrior. They keep the peace where those who are weak cannot... But these Sun warriors are almost no more... what gnoll would care for justice, when we are seen as monsters... But it is not our fault! the world pushes us without mercy, and as soon as we push back, the world points, shocked, and calls out... Evil! ... *sigh* And that is why you are wrong, brothers, to insult the sun warriors, because they, unlike you still have faith in what is right!

>The others look down, realizing what they did...

Banzai - We gnolls need more sun warriors, what we need is more men who care about justice and what is right. But no one cares... Mistress Eadoo speaks of such a beautiful utopia... a world I would so dearly love to be part of... Instead of playing the brave for fools, why not join them in the light?! I would gladly play my part. None of us are born in the sun, but surely Yurra wouldn't mind if we borrow his mantle. He is in dire need of servants...

>The gnolls are shocked at Banzais speech... shaken...

Bacon - I... I could not become a sun warrior, I... I don't have the strength...

>Liver says nothing...

Onion - I... I-I will Fight. You are right Banzai, the sun needs warriors and Eadoos path is true, I see it now. So clearly~

Liver - *sigh*

Banzai - It is tradition for a sun warrior to bear the arms and armor of another tribe as a sign of good faith... I think kadage can supply our new hero... I will cover the expenses. *Did I do good, Friend? I doubt Liver will ever drop his pessimism, but he is loyal to a fault.*

>>545942
Banzai - yes traditionally the pack leader chooses her minions names, it shows how far she rules over them...

>>545963
Banzai - Well yes treasure is grand. But Shenzi never told us exactly where it was, she's afraid one of us might nab it from under her nose... Ah here are the others, are there anymore questions before we proceed?

Going to bed so not gonna do a full response at the moment, but just wanted to say as an out-of-quest aside that Banzai is a serious badass. He doesn't ever have to fight or anything like that, he's just a bamf by nature. Glad he's with us.

Banzai, you did real well. It's not about stopping Liver being so pessimistic, it's about raising the morale of every one.

For now the most important thing is to find the alchemist so he can heal the wounded. Now I do not like to use your money, Banzai, but we might have no choice.
>>
No. 546145 ID: 9ddf68

Eh, I don't think anyone is really born a warrior, they become one. If you guys really want to become sun warriors then why not, If you need training I'm sure we could find something to help you along.

For now though lets see how far our money will get us before we start using Banzai's. Start with stuff that can heal the sick and wounded, then we'll move on to weapons and armor, and finish with food since mostly everyone in our party knows how to hunt so it's not THAT big of deal. As for what to sell, lets just pawn things that will fetch a good price here and if we don't have to sell the furs now then lets hold on to them, but if we need to then we'll do it when the time comes.

Banzai, you did great - it's good to see Eadoo isn't the only one with a knack for motivating; we're very happy to have found a friend among the gnolls like you who has the bravery and foresight to work towards a better life for your people. Onion, we're honored to share company with someone who would dedicate themselves to such a noble cause; we may be called demon, but we're trying to live by Eadoo's example - it's good to see another rising to a higher calling. We're sure you'll do Yurra proud. Liver, don't be such a frownypants, mister. If nothing else, be happy we're finally in town and you can spend some of your wages... which, by the way, how was that handled, under Shenzi?

ooc > Let's get a move on once the others arrive and split up to do shopping / find lodging, check out the alchemist, figure out what there is to do here to relax / have fun. An inn is probably a good place to get directions, unless Banzai already knows where everything is.

If he is, guess that makes him an onion knight.

Either way, heal the wounded, get supplies and hopefully keep profile lowish.

Also, not exactly sure how the princess having male junk will work out for her. I mean, it'd certainly make those who go traditional 'men become rulers' types rally with her.

Banzai - Thank you friend, I never did hear your name, what is it? And don't worry about my money, I consider it an investment. Surely you will know to repay me, with a fair interest.

>>546145
Banzai - *Onion is not bad with a sword, I've seen his dance... No his weakness is courage, that's why he sports a spear, he fears conflict... I believe a large suit of steel will harder his heart. But if he needs to train, Curd... Err... William, has potential Shenzi never saw, Surely he could train him.*

>>546217
Martin - I wouldn't call them rebels, they're not a fighting type, but they haven't had much connection with the empire in years, they're far from loyalist... Most didn't even recognize my imperial seals or the princess when I passed through here, They weren't pf much help finding her.

>>546239
Eadoo - *Not a bad idea... Maybe we could make this town a foot hold for my kingdom? Also, I've been meaning to ask, whats the difference between an empire and a kingdom?*

>>546250
>Banzai, you did great

Banzai - Thank you friend.

>we may be called demon, but we're trying to live by Eadoo's example

Banzai - humans are taught duality at a young age, that there only exists good and evil and it is native to the roots. But our elders taught us long ago that there is good and evil in all of us, and no one thing can truly be one or the other, even the most frighting of monsters has a heart... That's why I believe in Eadoo's teachings.

>Liver, don't be such a frownypants

Liver - Well that's your opinion, I'd like my right to my own, and in the very least I'll be quiet. But if you want to see me smile, bring me somewhere to warm me feet. It's a warm afternoon, but it's still freezing, fur and hide only goes so far...

>>546311
>it'd certainly make those who go traditional 'men become rulers' types rally with her.

Roza - I'm not sure I understood that, but the sooner it comes off the better... oh I hope I can change back... Why is all this happening to me..?

>You mozy on into the village, its in disrepair but the towns folk don't seem to care too much, life bussles on despire the evident poverty of the town. as you find and move towards the merchant district you're addressed by a poor beggar.

We can spare one or two coin, after all, being generous to the less fortunate can gain us a good reputation in the eyes of the common people. Some rule with fear, or brutality. But compassion and a firm yet gentle hand work just as well. If not moreso.
>>

Liver > you're right about having the right to your own opinion of course, we were mostly joking with you. Hopefully a warm inn and bed are in our immediate future, as we could all do with a rest. You're also welcome to pick out some warme-well, any clothing while we're here in town... I don't think the official uniform of Eadoo's guard is going to be mostly-naked - despite evidence to the contrary.

Beggar > Yup, definitely gotta give her a coin. It would be nice if we could provide a longterm solution to help her, but I think that's beyond us for now. At least give her enough for a few warm meals. Maybe someone can spare a blanket or hide or something as well, if it's as cold as Liver says. Also, is she missing *both* of her arms? That seems unlikely to happen accidentally, maybe we can ask her how it happened, unless we're worried about upsetting her.

A double amputee?
In a medieval-esque techno-economic era?

Give her some water.

Ask if they have any duties or responsibilities to some other person/place/thing/spirit.

Check for illusions/Poke her arm-holes.

Ask her to show-off her leg-strength through some feat of jumping, a tight-walking act, or kicking Bacon.

She's got to have some appreciable quality to make up for her lack of arms!

I agree that we should be helping her without giving her money. With no arms she has no way of holding or spending it, so she's obviously reliant on someone. She wouldn't be alive otherwise. Furthermore, there's no way to lose arms up to the shoulder in an accident. Someone did this to her.

Now this is a leap, but it's entirely possible that the person who cut off her arms is the one who is taking care of her. Using her as a beggar and taking the proceeds in exchange for taking care of her. Don't assume that, but it bears investigation.

To that end, lets give her a fur for warmth, and take her to get something to eat. The princess should feed her, it'll be a good experience for her to offer comfort to the wretched.

Are you really, really sure you want to take on an armless beggar? This is going to be a purely bad thing, she'll be a deadweight and worse, hurt our credibility. No one is going to take us seriously if we cart an armless beggar with us. We have a gang of gnolls who respect power, how are they going to react to us picking up a beggar?

The right thing to do here is to grant her her wish right here, as heartless as that is. Just give her a dignified death.

If you are serious about taking her with you, rig up something for William so that he can carry her on his back.

I wonder how there isn't a healer in this world who can re-grow limbs you would think in a world that has a witch that can make someone grow a penis that someone could re-grow limbs for the right price.
We should ask her if she would reconsider living if we could get her limbs returned.
If not and we decide we are going to kill her I think it would only be right of us to take her to the inn where we will be staying and let her have a night in comfort and warmth, and kill her in her sleep when she is at peace, then bury her in the woods or cemetery, because no one deserves to die out in the cold in a gutter, and also because killing someone in public would probably bring some attention to ourselves in a bad way.

I suppose I support this if we fulfill her request - at least try to make her last night happy - or maybe some food and warmth will be enough to make her want to live again.
I think we should try to convince her to keep on living though - maybe with us. She may not have arms, but she still has legs, she wouldn't have to be carried. We can maybe give her a pack of supplies to carry on her back so she can contribute. And like others said, surely someone out there can magic up some replacement arms. Even if it's unlikely that we can find them, it should give her hope. We want to make a place for outcasts, right? Killing one as pathetic as her doesn't seem like the right path to that goal, whether she asks or not.

nope, When life gives you lemons, you take the lemons back! this girl will be saved.
Rozalin, get martin and take this young woman to get clean, new clothes and a hot meal. She doesnt have hands so Rozalin, you'll have to feed her, this will be a humbleing experience for you.
Eadoo, William and us will go check out the alchemist it is top priority.
We can afford this, it was established early on that a single gold coin can feed well a family for a month, so four gold should suffice for all our endevors. including saving this young lass.
And hugs, manny hugs indeed!

Was thinking, once she's stronger we may also be able to get Will to train her along with Onion. Surely he knows some martial arts styles that focus on kicks. (I think having students will probably be good for Will spiritually as well, by the way.) Maybe we can have some weapons made that mount on the foot or knee down the line as well. There's no reason she needs to keep being a helpless victim, but the first step onto that road is going to be convincing her that her life has value and we can help her find a place in the world.

Definitely the weather coat or the bear coat. The weather coat is practical and warm, which will be important if Creep travels with us. It also looks like it might have more freedom of movement than the bear coat, which would be good if Creep does decide to train with Will. The Pancho thingy also would somewhat hide her missing arms at first glance. That said, the bear coat is, well, a bear, and therefore badass. Definitely want to haggle on that one though - 30 rooks seems like a crazy price for a piece of clothing, no matter how finely made. Unless there's magic to it, charging nearly 30x the price seems like asking a lot. Maybe we can talk Erith (he or she btw?) down, though. We should also ask Creep if she has a preference.

And while we're on being nice to Creep, Martin and Roz, you may be of noble descent, but that doesn't give you any right to treat those less fortunate rudely. Everyone deserves to be shown respect, and a true knight and a good ruler should be marked by their compassion as much as their bravery or good decision making. We know you both well enough to know that you're both good people, (who may be frustrated right now due to recent events, it's true), yet fighting for just causes means little if you can't treat others justly. True we're doing her a charity, but there's no need to rub her nose in it - we can lift ourselves up out of the muck of social schisms just as we lift her up. /end sermon

the bear or the dwarf. she is homeless so warm clothing is best since she'll be outdoors a lot. and truth be told I'm leaning towards the dwarf seeing as it's warm, cheap, and other then some style I don't really see how the bear coat is better. At least not by 29 silvers

Psshh! Forget Roz's opinion, that Dwarven Weathercoat thing looks pretty cool! It's the best choice in all ways. The knit sweater and socks don't look too bad... but it looks like her theighs might get a bit chilly. We should ask our unarmed friend her opinion tho.

Also, where is our other shard? It'd be best if it was with Eadoo's group during this split up. What if the alchemist is crazy or has been seeking kobold and gnoll organs for potions and has sleeping drugs or something and he's immune to pain, and they can't do enough damage with their sluggish bodies falling asleep and they were left wishing they could have stabbed our shard into the guy before falling asleep or something...

Point being, worst case scenario, stabbing our shard into 1 enemy to stop them is easier than taking them down and turns their skills to our side, like then we could use the alchemist's body and knowledge to heal them or something...

If these potions are like potions I've heard of, something to heal wounds might ought be stocked up on well, and possibly a few to cure common ailments such as something for poisons and toxins and maybe one or two to cure paralysis, and perhaps something to clear clouded vision, or a remedy for a befuddled mind... At the risk of further side tracking, Eadoo and Roz both got their extra bits from Chaos witch hijinks; Martin is a female to male transgender; and Shenzi's anatomy is I think the norm for gnoll females or else a third gender situation common to goals - either way not the result of magic as far as we know. As for Erith and Nisse, I think they both present as female (despite the beard) so that's probably the way to address them until/unless we outright ask them. Creep too for that matter.

I've got a few bottles a remedy for basic sickles, simple stuff 10 teeth a bottle

Tashers! clears your mind after a night of drinking, big seller~ cheep too! 3coppar.

medical wines here... it's small, but these potions can cure big cuts and broken bones, give em a few days though eh... 20rooks. they ain't cheep...

Refined bull extract, one shot and you can lift a cart far shar, 25 rooks.

smokewines, open tha stopper and it'll fill a house with thick black smoke eh. 18 coppar.

This green stuff dat I ain't got a name far yet, it'll keep yah awake far a few days, but ya'll sleep like tha dead far just as long right afta, 2 silvar far a shot.

Cat eyes here... can't go without night vision, 7 coppar

This white gunk tastes like ell~ but it'l make yar sweat sticky enuf ta climb on walls... 3 rooks a bottle I've gat 5...

Tell her we'd be happy to travel together, but we just arrived today and were planning on staying at least a few days to rest and ask around town to see if we can find any who are interested in supporting our cause. Our goal is to create a kingdom where the disenfranchised and neglected of this kingdom - the unwanted, the "freaks", the "monsters" - can find a true home. One where they would be welcome to live in peace - where a gnoll could be chancellor or a troll could be queen.

That is our dream, and that is why our group already includes gnolls who were bandits, a knight, a princess, and a little bold with big dreams.
>>
No. 549362 ID: 0a58ee

We should get a few bottles of the remedy, maybe 2 or 3, in case anyone gets sick, good to have. Some Tashers! it might be more useful than just a hangover remedy, such as if an enemy can confuse the mind it might help clear it. We should definately get a couple of the medicinal wines for the road, maybe one Refined Bull Extract, in case someone gets trapped under a boulder or something else terrible happens.

Also a smokewine or two for quick getaways from enemies too strong or if the party is in danger. I don't know if the green stuff that keeps you awake is useful yet, but maybe get one in case a use comes up. Get a few Cat's Eye, maybe 3 or so, they aren't too expensive and night vision sounds super useful. Maybe 1 or 2 of the climbing potion... Get both Doubledouble, those sound super useful, enemy is too strong, blow them up, or need to blow anything up, so useful.

Soo... my shopping list includes...
3 Remedy-30 teeth
3 Tashers!-9 teeth
2 Medicinal Wines-20 rooks
1 Refined Bull Extract-25 rooks
2 Smokewines-18 copper(/teeth?)
1 Green Insomnia Potion-2 silver(/rooks?)
3 Cat's Eye-21 copper(/teeth?)
2 Climbing Potion-6 rooks
2 Doubledouble-45 rooks
So 2 crowns 24 rooks 6 teeth, these are what I think we should get to be prepared for most any situation, hopefully one person can scale a cliff and throw down a rope, and one person can see at night and guide the party and such forth. And these would just be for the road, so perhaps a bit more for what we need in the here and now, and of course anything else you think we need.

Concu - Go back to your palace breasted knight, and be thankful we pay our taxes so you can afford to do nothing while we starve...

Hrrm. Sounds like Martin got caught in the anti-nobility anger the pesantry have. I'm PRETTY SURE we actually knew about this before hand, but I can't say I expected her to get caught in it!
Here's my thoughts: Yes she's being rude. Good thing she doesn't want our coin though, because if she did, her attitude would have cost her establishment more than a few coppers I think.
Turn and walk away, I can't say I can think of a reason to make this violent, aside from her insulting in your general vicinity-notice how her insults are not necessarily towards you but to those in your occupation, for the most part.

Myself, I'm not willing to take any shit from elves, midgets/children, or people with that expression on their faces. Kill it. It might lead to some trouble down the road, but we can deal with it and it'll be well worth it to see the little cunt bleed.

Not a very smart person, considering that the Nobility allows them to have all this. It'd be very, very easy to suddenly find that her taxes never came and that there's suddenly people seeing that they store murderers..

Would be so easy to kill her, but don't, it's better to ruin someone and let them lament their choices in life then having a momentary cathartic pleasure. Specially with one of such noble blood Martin.

Sheathe your weapon! Such conduct is unbecoming of a knight.
"I earned my knighthood through merit and service, not happenstance of birth. While that may make me lesser nobility, I earn my keep in blood and pain.
I don't begrudge discontentment towards the upper nobility, but your hypocrisy disgusts me. For all your hatred of the nobility, what are you to Creep besides incredibly wealthy? What help did you offer her as she slept in the snow?

Sadly, as you have said you are the only inn in town, so let me make clear to you what a proper knight embodies.
I came here to rent a room for Creep and her new caretaker. You will give her a decent room, and I will pay that room's list price. You will see to it that they are both accommodated well.
You will do this because it is the right thing to do. If you were a decent person I wouldn't have even had to ask you to help her.

The "child sized elf" is probably not a child, or is only a child by elven standards, like in D&D type games Elves don't reach "adulthood" until they are 110. So this "child" could be like 80 or something, while still juvenile by elven standards, she'd be a full adult by most other racial standards.

Martin - *Ggrr... I wont loose to her, I will not, the vile little runt... But I cannot use violence, you are right... Besides, I wont suffer the nightmares again... not again...*

>Martin Puts his weapon away, and readjusts his hat to show his eyes well.

Martin - listen well miss Concupisco, I was once a mere hand maiden, my father a peasant who tilled the soil with his bare hands. I earned my knighthood through merit and service, not happenstance of birth.

>Martin swings his arm around her waist and holds her close in comfort.

Martin - Sadly, as you have said you are the only inn in town, so let me make clear to you what a proper knight embodies. >The young elf, blushes and frowns behind her fan, looking as though she lost against a hated rival.

Concu - *sigh* I... Have misjudged you... fair knight... you... deserve to rest here, take any seat you like... Feel at home.

Martin - Thank you young elf. Oh! I guess I should mention, I am as you may know, a very influential member of the knights de la plume rouge. The very knighthood, who's guards are supposed to be routing though this very town for your protection and that of the merchant caravans... I couldn't help but notice that you have not seen of us in quite some time... I was not informed of this and am personally outraged to see so many innocents deprived of a basic right that we nobles offer you, yet you still pay our taxes? It's preposterous! And I will not stand for it. I will make sure my superiors hear my anger on the subject.

>The elf glares at Martin in confusion, trying to find a treat in the nobles words...

>Eadoo leveled up Rogue Lv.6

Give +5 to two different stats and pick one of the following perks...
Pilfering hands [+5 to slight of hand]
Song bird [+10 to singing]
Succubus kiss [mystical ability] [can bend subjects to her will during or directly after an act of passion]
Language of love [mystical abillity] [Eadoo and a subject understand each other, regardless of language, during an act of passion]
Field commander [+15 fellowship when positioned in front of his unit]
Trustworthy [subjects are 10% more likely to confine secrets to eadoo]

>Gatling has also leveled up. Sentient shard Lv.8

choose one of the following perks...
greater telepathy [you can read the surface thoughts of those not in your party]
Tongues [You vaguely understand any language]
Multy-possession II [dominate up to 3 hosts at a time]
Recal [instantly recall to an ally's hand within a short distance [same as telepathy]]

Close up the front on the pants, add sleeves to the shirt, and bring the neckline closer to the neck. You can keep the ruffles, but the shirt should be close enough to have a collar.
Also, get a red hood you can put on and at least two pairs of gloves - black or brown would complement the outfit the best.

Remember, it's winter and you're going to be traveling. Dress warmly and wear clothing that grants some protection.

For the stats I'd choose Weapon Skill and Constitution. Eventually we're going to be getting into combat and this will ensure we are capable in it. As for the feats I'd choose Field Commander and either Trustworty or Succubus Kiss.

For Gatling we can just get Tongues. Language of Love is good, but with Tongues we can simply combine it with our telepathy to translate directly into the minds of party members.

Also we should probably get William started back on his monk training.

Question: Does an "Act of Passion" have to be of the erotic kind? Because Passion can be many different things.

IIRC pretty much anything romantic counts.

Right now Eadoo has lots of followers speced for combat, so she doesn't really need to focus on that. Her fellowship is good, but getting a bonus while addressing her already-loyal troops isn't the most useful at the moment.
Eadoo's strongest at diplomacy, and building her into an unstoppable social force is an efficient division of powers.

Being able to know what people are thinking will make it MUCH easier to manipulate and persuade people.

Still, accurate throwing is always useful, so:
+Fellowship
+Throwing
We can take Recall next level, and Eadoo will then have unlimited Gatling works with which to hit an enemy.

Greater Telepathy.
>>
No. 554307 ID: 831960

I'd say we should focus on her strengths for now as we would have to sink a lot of levels in constitution before Eadoo would be very durable - better to get stats that will help us put more and more comrades between us and the things that want us dead. So ballistic for the spare Gatling shard and fellowship for swelling the ranks and strengthening the bonds of those we already have. (Agree we should try to nudge Will back onto the path to monkiness - maybe giving starter lessons to Creep if she's interested would be a way to get him on the right path).

Field Commander seems like the best choice for us right now as in any serious negotiations we'll want to be standing with our soldiers and retinue behind us anyway (such as when we finally get Roz home). Will also be useful in a tough fight where can lead a charge to convince some of our more mercenary fighters might think about not throwing themselves against terrible odds. Risky, but so is a route.

Greater telepathy is tempting, but I think Recall is going to provide Eadoo with an inexhaustible superior weapon to toss in a fight - given half our forces are gnolls it won't hurt to be able to do some impressive killings in a fight to cement our position as king and all around badass.

Trustworthy because there is no way to make friends faster than convincing them to share there secrets with you.

Recall will let us teleport to whomever is in the best position to throw us and to bring ourselves back after the dice invariably betray us. No more worrying about our enemy's getting hold of us after a non lethal throw and being able to move ourselves to where the action is can't hurt either.

There's no way that they believe there isn't some sort of angle. Fortunately, there are a few that are true.

The creation of a kingdom of outcasts; helping one of those who are at the bottom of the social order shows that King Eadoo cares about the common and unfortunate, which would lead to the spread of his generosity and existence to others in similar situations.

Order in the Kingdom; this town pays taxes, and therefore is entitled to the King's protection. A gesture of goodwill can serve to prevent an uprising while the appropriate forces can be sent to cleanse the town of corruption.

In more immediate terms, and probably the one that would be good to reveal, Martin is currently under orders to do this. Eadoo wants this beggar provided for to serve his purposes, and far be it from a Knight to go against what the King desires.

Agreed Darl, but mention of a "King" in the inn might set this person and any other anti-royalists or criminal elements into a bit of a tizzy. This one seems to have some sort of power, if the darkness fizzing out of him is has been noticed.

Insist that Martin is currently following a simple request of his kind and dear friend. If there is some concern for this fine woman's well-being, their party would enjoy the company of people who care for this woman.

Doubt this will stop him from trying to act or plot, but it might prolong him for a short bit. If he goes away, finish escorting our new friend, then get a buddy or two and try to figure out who this person might be.

Stranger - I would have helped her myself had I seen her before you, there's no doubt. What I'm asking is why a noble in this town would care about the poor? We cannot trust you!

Martin - *sigh* I admit, and it pains me to drop down from my moral highgrounds, thought it has been a fulfilling experience, Helping creep was not my initial intent, a kind friend of mine put me to it, even using a debt to bind me to the act... But for its worth I wont consider that debt payed. I've been scoffed at enough to realize the state of this town and its inhabitants, I will see that it is better maintained. The peasants here pay their taxes and deserve its benefits.

Stranger - very well... your kind friend, helps people often?

Martin - why do you care, darkone...

>The grey skinned man tucks his hood more so the smoke stops seeping out

Stranger - Clearly you see me as evil... and I have no doubt there's nothing I can do to change that image... I'm simply curious of this friend of yours, a baker's boy who's friends to a knight?

Martin - Not quite... Eadoo is a kobold.

Stranger - a Kobold?

Martin - Indeed, a kobold with a heart of gold. His dream is that of a kingdom of outcasts, built on acceptance and generosity. And Idea I'm slowly beginning to adopt myself.

Stranger - A kingdom of outcasts?

Martin - Yes, now if you're done questioning me, I would like to get back to feeding the poor before the food gets cold.

Stranger - Where can I meet this Eadoo?

Martin - somewhere in town, he's not hard to poke out of a crowd.

Elder - They are real. I've seen two with my eyes, long long ago...

Eadoo - what are they? can they really control dragons?

Elder - Yes... He who gathers the crown of true purpose and the sceptre of unwilting faith at the throne of absolute judgement, will awaken the dormant to his command.

Eadoo - That's amazing... like a fairie's tale come true~ Do... do you know where any of them three might be?

Elder - I know of one... the crown, it is nearby... in the castle, just up the hillside. Free it of its demonic incursion and it is yours.

Eadoo - So if I can get rid of the demons in the castle I can keep the crown?

Elder - no, you can keep the castle~

Eadoo - The... wh-what?!

Elder - I have seen great things in your future, black fated prince. Prove yourself kobold, take the castle and I will call you king.

>Eadoo looks shocked, stunned and confused... The elder turns to Roland, looking into his eyes as if she could see clear as day.

Elder - She is not wrong, fair squire...

>Roland looks away, his eyes filled with fear and doubt...

Elder - stay a moment more if you will, Leydia, put on some tea. Surely you have more questions, young bold... or rather your guardians?

The Death, Reversed Ace of Coins, Ace of Spades.
Death typically signifies great change (Not actual death). Ace of coins(pentacles) represents wealth, reversed usually means corruption/loss of wealth/possessions or greed. Ace of spades(swords) is representative of fresh starts and new beginnings.

Those are generic meanings of the cards and the reading can differ depending on context.

We can also think about reforging our other shard down the line. Either something better for close combat if we ever think Shenzi can be trusted alone or else something less damaging for her or another long term... vessel like a long needle or even hook that can be worn more like a piercing. I think we should let Eadoo know about this But if she leaves it up to us our options would be
A) drive out her soul/sprite like we did with the boggy man we had earlier
B)release our hold on her and HOPE TO GOD we can control her
C) do nothing and just watch and see what happens to her.

No. 559289 ID: bfbe79

Well shit. It seems like there's really not going to be any way to convince her. At least not with what we've tried... sucks, she'd have been a badass bodyguard for Eadoo.

Best case scenario we're... rewriting her programming? After which she'll probably either be a shell of her former self or someone else entirely. Changing her is what we were after, but... like this... I don't know.

We should definitely bring Eadoo in on this. This is a decision for the leader. And Banzai at least also deserves to know. There may be no love lost, but they're still siblings. It's also possible he may have some idea of what could break through to her so our choices aren't so limited. Also... Ed... maybe? Or his mysterious friends. They certainly would be familiar with dreamscapes and may be able to tell us for certain what's happening.

Personally I say that sponging her away to a blank host is not an option. A clean execution if she is truly irredeemable would be more noble than that. If we're rewiring her into a different person... that's pretty much just as evil, but at least the new her would have a chance at life?

This is some very murky water. (neat!)

I mean it fits the demonic side because we have her trapped inside her own body as her spirit seems to be slowly dissolving while we hijack her body but the angelic in the fact that we are trying to redeem her and if she redeems herself she'll be able to go free and as a better person. Erasing her mind would ease her pain, she's trained entirely for something different and as a result we cannot fight her own her own terms for personal conquest and dominance, as a result this would be the 'best' option for helping her through. We can retain some parts of her memory if we wish, but she will never cater to a standard friendship.

If we fix this now instead of trying to cut it off we'll be saving a lot more "resources" than if we let it go on. Final clarifying note tonight, because I don't want this to turn into a big dumb argument. If the absolute only solution at this point is trying to get rid of the bad memories, then go ahead and do it, but don't tell me that trying to save her is "wasting" anything when we could be wasting just as many resources trying to find ways to erase her mind. If there's a chance we can do something about this that doesn't end in frying her brain then we should honestly take it instead of going "fuck it" and taking an easy route that could be just as difficult to pull as the saving option.

We could learn exactly about ourselves if we could figure out the limits of our power as well.

The problem is she isn't desiring herself to join us, we'd need to change her entire outlook, and even then we'd still be trailing along a killer with us with a sordid past that'd we be trying to ignore.

You assume the plan will backfire, even more then her turning on us as soon as we show her mercy.

>Learning
I'd rather learn about our powers from someone else, like I suggested earlier, than through dangerous guesswork with party members as guinea pigs. And if Eadoo is going to be a Good king she'd probably agree.

>Killer
All the gnolls in our parties are killers, so your point is moot, Shenzi is just the angriest right now because, I dunno, we're eating her brain and hijacked her body. And I have a feeling that maybe trying to help her instead of torturing her with our attempts at self experimentation will actually lead to some good, but you won't even give it a chance because it's "too hard".

>You assume-
Yeah, and you assume I'm wrong too. I'm not going to repeat this again.

Too hard? I just feel that we would produce a better outcome if we experiment in a different manner. It's less optimal then any of the other situations.

Not to mention the Gnolls were killers because they were forced to under her hand, less so then their own choice.

However I will cut it here, we are cluttering it at this point. But I still feel we should simply do as will with her, rather then force ourselves along.

But isn't that the point of the quest, that we're guiding Eadoo to greatness? My guess would be that all that happens in your case would be an "I dunno, do what you think is best" and then we're back to the same spot. FWIW, I'd throw my hat in with the power-gauging potential of letting her waste away. The fact that Dagger has basically raped her, mind, body, and soul, is enough that letting her memories self-destruct would be a blessing rather than a curse. She's shown almost nothing but hostility, and the relapse here seems to fall in line with the original Shenzi, a cruel and evil person, so it seems pretty much neutral in the end to kill evil with evil action, or inaction as the case may be.

There's no way to take the moral high ground with this. Shenzi is right, she is our enemy, down to the core. If there was a point at which this could've been talked out with her it's long past. Think about this rationally, she came after Eadoo with the intent to hunt her down and EAT her. We responded by dominating her. I don't know why you think we can erase her memory. Maybe cut bits off her soul but I've seen nothing to suggest memory manipulation.

What should we do? we should do exactly what we have been doing. Possess her body until it expires, and then continue until it begins to fester. Once her death will be noticable to the other gnolls quietly walk her away from the group and leave her body to rest somewhere quiet and out of the way.

At this point she's dead. A piece of meat. That meat will work for us, or against us relentlessly if we release it.

No, I'd agree with the other anon a lot faster than I'd agree to this kind of backwards thinking. Memory erasing is a much better idea if you really think in all honesty just letting her die off is the better option. You know what? If this is the only other option I change my mind completely. Start seeing what pieces we can remove. That's not sarcasm either.

Pieces of memory I mean, apologies for not clarifying.

Also don't tell me to think rationally and then go on about how the reason we should just kill her is based entirely on how we've seen her up until now, time in which we've done nothing but humiliate and torture her by the way.

But whatever, it's up to Eadoo, as I said before, not us.

You must know how this works. We were enemy's. We fought and we took something of yours, spoils of war. Your a gnoll, surely you have spent time in towns that disliked you before? Any tavern willing to feed you was willing to overlook their disdain for you because you had gold to trade. Think of us as merchants. We own your body but would be willing to sell it to you for something of greater value. You think its quite valuable being your only body but to us its about to become a corpse. you might be surprised by the number of things that are more valuable than a corpse.
Go on offer us a deal,
You might be able to buy it for a song...

I think a wait and see mentality is best here. Things might work themselves out in the end. tell Eadoo whats going on regardless.

Not a bad start. But in her current state she will need some direction. Also we should avoid lies. Those always come back to bite you in the end with something like this. But at the same time she doesn't need to know every thing up front. She is innocent right now and that would hurt her. Let her grow a bit and them dole out her past slowly as her new self emerges.

On a side not Eadoo, you just lost your family and children. Shen needs a mother right now. You can be that for her. Help her grow back up.

She need kindness more than any thing else. So adopted daughter would be a good thing to attach to what ever role you help her grown into.

Agreed that lying here is a really bad idea, not to mention that lying to the new her after essentially murdering the old one just feels like heaping another evil on the pile (regardless of noble intentions, the way we got here was pretty horrible). We may want to avoid the whole picture for now, but don't make up some story about how she lost her memories in an accident or some such. She'll eventually find out the truth, and knowing we lied to her from her first awakening will only hurt her in the end.

Tell her we don't know all the answers yet, but we would like to be her friend. It will be up to her to find out who she is, but she will have friends and family to help her along the way. For now she can rest if she is exhausted and we can talk later, or if she feels up to it she can meet the rest of the group - and some of her family.

Well, the boys don't seem particularly upset about the old Shenzi being gone, but we should make sure they understand how they should treat Shenzi now. No need to get revenge for old grudges or anything like that. It might also be best to take Banzai aside briefly to get his input on the whole situation. He's arguably the smartest of the bunch, and she was/is his sister.

After that, if Shenzi is feeling up to it we can find out if she's retained any of her learned skills from her last life, especially when it comes to combat since we're looking to clear out a castle full of demons soon. (Which we should consider preparing for. I think everyone is due for some R&R but maybe you can gather the group and have a dinner/party where you can talk strategy with your lieutenants and figure out where you can secure weapons specifically suited to fighting demons.)

Also, how much are we (Gatling) aware of when it comes to Roland and his sword? If we have any sense that there's more to him than he lets on, we may want to have Eadoo confront him directly, or possibly ask for more information from Martin. I think he's on our side, but he definitely is more than a mere squire. We have an important fight coming up, and we'd be better off going into it with everybody's cards on the table.

However, I'm not certain if everything we've seen of Roland has been witnessed by Gatling spying about, or just as teasers of things to come for the reader. If it's the second then we might not be suspicious enough to take this action)

Eadoo will not reach their goal of a fair kingdom by stepping on people. We can't guarantee him much other than input. But we will promise to reward him in kind relative to his services and what we find. He will be treated fairly.

Well, now that we have the stranger and Shenzi sorted out, we should see about blessed or holy gear. Gatling happens to have some angelic/demonic qualities, perhaps emphasizing those could provide a greater advantage against the demons infesting the castle. If it does turn out that Ean is untrustworthy, then we can just use him as a new host.

A party should be something we save for after we take the castle, right now we should save our supplies. What we should do is spend some time talking to our followers, getting to know them and increasing our ties with them. Also ponder which one of the gnolls to add to our harem.~

Eadoo - I don't even know the first thing about that... Maybe someone in town can help?

Concu - such a large crowd of monsters... I hope you have the means to pay, we do not exchange pelts here.

Eadoo - it's fine, we have coins. But mostly I'm here to show you this...

>Eadoo hands her the bone slate, she glares at it vexed. Pondering it...

Concu - where did you get this?

Eadoo - old lady Baba gave it to me, she said you'd help me in my goals.

Concu - Why oh why, would mother want me to help you? If she offered you this it must be something big... What's your deal kobold?

Eadoo - I'm going to purge the castle of its deamons and become king.

>Concu looks even more confused, but quickly changes to look pleased.

Concu - normally I'd say you're crazy... but if Mama say's you can do it, it must be true. And if Mama wants you as a king I'll follow.

Eadoo - thank you.

Concu - But heed my words rodent. Make my mother swallow her words, and death will be the least of your problems...

Eadoo - thank you~ Gatling, is there anything else we need?

Is she talking about accommodations, or about supplies to buy? I think we already have enough weapons, and I don't know what kind of equipment we'll need to tackle the castle. We should probably consult with Banzai when it comes to procuring supplies for the castle, as that is his speciality. As for what we'll need we should consult Martin and co.

As for now we should get rooms for those who are going to be staying in the inn. Any who aren't going to be staying in the inn can sleep in their tents near/with the caravan. We should also do what we can to convince the people of the village of our sincerity, starting with Concu. We don't necessarily need to convince them to follow us right off the bat, just increase the general opinion so that they are more pliable in the future.

If we're going to party, let's party. Banzai can help us decide how much money we want to throw into it, and we should talk to the group and see whether they want to stay at the inn, or rough it with the gear (we may want to make sure our stuff is guarded, depending on how much crime they have here). We should find out more about our new acquaintances as well. For all we know Ean might be a mage of some sort. And talk to our party members and see what kind of entertainment or drinks they want if we're going to have a party. Maybe a singer or minstrel works the inn, and I believe Concu said it's a bordello as well, so there's always that.

Eadoo - I want to be king and build a peaceful land using the power of the dragons throne. my kingdom will be a place of equality where man and monster live in harmony.

Concu - that's dumb and will never work, humans fear monsters and monster are bigots. Besides the dragons throne is made up folklore. *sigh* I don't get what mom see's in you...

>>562017
>see whether they want to stay at the inn

The gnolls agree the'd like to sleep in warm beds since its offered and they can store their goods in the back since we'll be here for a good week.

>how much money we want to throw into it

Banzai - we shouldn't invest much at all into it, especially since the lower class goods are offered... But paying your men might be a wise choice, I'd suggest two silver each, twice what Sister would pay them for a months efforts. If they want to spend it here it's their choice. Also if you're going to pay them, will you pay Shenzi? she's loyal to you it seems but its a question to ascertain, does she deserve freedom of currency?

>>561935
>hiring a mage or something.

Concu - you need a mage for something? Hmmn... can't say I know any this side of Allaria... Save for him... but you... Well if you're interested... I mean... I know a necromancer, a strange one, like really really strange, and dangerous. But if you really need a magician of sorts, you could look for him. He lives out in the woods, really really deep. maybe two days in. If you really need to see him, head here *pointing to a nearby map* you'll meet gnomes, they're tell you where he lives. But watch out, I'd ill advise going there.
>>

The fact that the necromancer is "really strange" makes me more curious than I probably would otherwise be. But do we want to spend all the extra travel time on an unsure thing? May want to get the advice of our more battle experienced members about how necessary a mage would be going into a demon infested castle.

Pay the men? Definitely. Shenzi... yes, but is she truly like a child? Will she stay that way until she "grows up" all over again? If so maybe Banzai should hold her share in trust to be doled out when Shenzi needs or wants something.

Shenzi looks displeased, but she seems to understand.

Eadoo - yeah... her belly is probably all shriveled up from not eating, it'll take time for her to get better.

Martin - did you get what we came here for?

Eadoo - oh yeah! everything and more, I've been needing to ask you, do you know anything about ridding castles of demonic incursions?

Martin - excuse me?

Eadoo - Yeah, we're going to rest here for a week or so and then go uphill and capture the castle. Kill off all the demons inside or maybe become friends with them, then it will be my castle and I'll claim this village as mine. The village elder agreed to it, she even told me it was fated.

Martin: An act of war? Hardly. You know how this works; a kingdom is exactly as large as the area the king can control. The moment he lost control of the castle to demons is the moment he lost these lands. You yourself even admitted he hasn't been unwilling or unable to send in forces to secure this land against roving bandits, and objected to these people being taxed while receiving no benefit.
If you truly believe these to be your king's lands, then it is your duty to secure them against threats; Which threatens the most harm to the kingdom? Eadoo, or the demons and bandits?
Would it not be easier for your admittedly-struggling kingdom to convince Eadoo to accept a position as vassal?

What of Roland? His decision is by order of a divine artifact, and when he spoke it shone with holy light. Clearly his choice is supported by the divine.

And what of Rozalin? The only way for her to be secreted from her bedroom was for her kidnappers to have aid from inside the castle; you would return her to place where enemies of the crown lurk and subject her to further danger?
Even if you are unwilling to remain, Eadoo swore to protect Rozalin while she is with us. Until the traitors inside the royal castle have been removed there is no safer place for her than with us.
Yes, Eadoo has asked Rozalin to do humiliating things, but as a means to teach her humility. You're a knight, you know the value of humility.

If you still insist on leaving, and still insist on taking Rozalin with you, then take one of our daggers. We have no love for the king, but we see Rozalin has the potential to be a good ruler and we would like to help her live to that potential - which, naturally, requires that she live.

We also have the option of trying to restrain them by force. If we really are going to end up at war with an established nation, having its princess in hand will be a major bargaining chip. Eadoo, try not to take this too hard. It's going to be impossible to please everyone with the goals you're trying to achieve. You did nothing wrong, and Martin made his own choices. There's no telling what will come, so perhaps it will all turn out for the best. For now, be strong for the men and Shenzi. You may also want to get to know Roland a bit more - or perhaps leave it to us to learn his story tonight.

Once Shenzi is calm, maybe you want to join the party? Despite Martin and Roz leaving, you all have a lot to celebrate, and you should enjoy yourself if you can. The gnolls would probably appreciate knowing their boss respects them enough to share a few drinks, too. Get drunk, have fun, get laid (a bar/brothel is a good place to find someone to expand that harem you like to talk about after all). Let your worries go for now and join the party.

Or, if you really don't feel up to it, use this time to strengthen your bonds with some of your(perhaps) less party hearty companions and acquaintances. You have a major challenge on the horizon and the more solid allies you have the better your chances will be. Whatever you do, don't let Martin's abandonment sour the mood for the rest of your group or your own.

Oh... and how's Creep now, you should check on her probably... did she still really want to die?

Durendala - Greetings Demon, I believe this is the first we've really meet. I am Durendala daughter of Durenden, the mist of wails. I would like to have a few words with you, though I'd rather keep it brief, as I'm told you're quite voracious.

Roland - *grumble* Why do we need such foul creatures?

Durendala - Bare you manners knight, these are our guests. Demon, as you may have guessed our lord Eadoo is surely touched by fate... I believe she may well be a black fated prince, if so she will weight heavily on the balance between light and darkness. I'm sure you know of the scrawled ones return... In Eadoo's youngest son no less... If left alone his evil will consume all life into oblivion, as it has... years ago... and this time around we will not be so favored...

Roland - the black Scrawl doesn't just kill you outright, your soul is decimated, destroyed, evaporated, no haven no hell, just darkness... for ever...

Durendala - Quite. It is a terrible fate, and this fate awaits us all if it is not stopped. How ever, I highly suggest to avoid charging straight at it like a wild animal, especially after the oracles words... There will come a time when we will face the evil in the void, and by my word we will stand at your side. But until then we must gather our strength.

Roland - Indeed, Know this Demon, I am not your ally, my blade arm is at lord Eadoo's will, not yours! But it is strong and true, I will not falter.

Durendala - I should comfort you in that the king will not call an attack on our precious town, not just yet at least. I'm afraid how ever, I cannot tell why. My understanding is best kept secret, for both our safety. You will simply have to trust us on this. Until then you are free to visit our dreams any time we're both here.

Roland - Wh-what?! No they're not!!

Durendala - Roland this is bigger than our home, it is important that our allies can meet with us.

Roland - I do not care, this is my spirit, my dreams. This is my special place, they are not allowed in!

Durendala - Roland... you must understand, I am asking you to be reasonable.

>Roland turns in place, angrily...

Roland - Fine! But *grrr* they have to ask first!! If you just barge in I'll kill you understand!?

Durendala - Roland... why do you fear our guests?

Roland - I do not fear them! They... they'll betray us, sooner or later, demons always do.

Durendala - there are less differences in demons and angels than you think young knight... Still knocking before entering is courtesy and I would expect no lack of manners from a demon. Ahhh! mmnn...

Roland - Durendala!! Are they harming you?!

Durendala - Forgive them, for they know not what they do. I'm affraid you must leave demon... *gaahh* I'm am sorry, I didn't... even... let you... speak... Aak! please... You will have your questions... next visit...

Roland - leave demon, this instant!!

Sorry if we are causing any harm. We really can not help our nature.

Let us know when you want to talk again.

Well lets head out and check on the rest of the party. I am worried that if we are not careful with Shenzi's upbringing we will end up with a very messed up individual. Might not be much we can do but need to be very careful about what she is part of the next month or so.

I'll be leaving for a short while, so I figured this would be a good place to end the chapter, I'll be back in full force soon enough, until them good night~

Also I'll report the thread myself in a few days giving anyone the time to send a final comment if need be before it gets archived.

I actually am vaguely curious what quitting would do.

It's not worth the risk, though, so save and continue.
