In no sense am I a great, tasteful or even original digital artist. Quests by me tend to begin as art quests often sometimes they start with less 'artistic' grip and always seem to sidetrack into detail quests or something very random. I'm especially proud of the red goblin quest I tried to make. The first mission didn't catch wind at all. Here it is: https://tgchan.org/kusaba/graveyard/res/693532.html

This time we intend to guide a spacefaring civilization discover warp drive and abandon old hyperdrive technology or something something terrible. A similar non-archived quest I made that goes along the same lines: https://tgchan.org/kusaba/graveyard/res/766743.html

The Great Chtulthur Hierarchy is regarded just as a hive of overgrown insects by outsiders, but this is not the truth. Although structurally it is a hive mind-like colony system, it is quite far from a gestalt consciousness. It is sure very compartmentalized in that the society consists of different insect races each having their own function emerging from the racial trait. Then again also each individual insect in the colonies are compartmentalized and do not behave with hive mentality. To the lowest caste in this hierarchy it is vastly unknown what the purpose or function of the hierarchy is. There is no way of knowing how things can possibly work without a visible leadership or a line of command anywhere. There seems to be no coherence at all. Yet the Hierarchy reorganizes and exists now and forever.

The Great Chtulthur Hierarchy is at the brink of a new rise from a previous fall or maybe a fall from a previous rise only the Formians know for sure. Several star systems go through collapse and resurrection time and again. Those star systems always lie again inside the Hierarchy after the dust settles whatever the claims from neighboring alliances or power structures are, they cannot ever hold long what they made collapse or conquered. This is also a known disturbance to the hierarchy and its mysterious existential purpose especially in the border systems.

The only known diplomacy in the Hierarchy is conflict against all non-hierarchy. This seems to end up in local collapses in the bordering systems very often, but somehow the order of hierarchy becomes reinstalled after a few decades of true chaos.

The cosmology seems to birth new stars in the center of the galaxy from a great stellar forge. During their very long lifetimes the stars seem to travel from the core to the galactic rim and age until extinguishing in the intergalactic void.
