So I gave golem quest a try and I think I like it. But I have a question. Is it possible to introduce a quest with just text and then introduce pictures? Kind of like the inverse of golem quest? Has this been done before?

what? golem quest's pictures are all fanart and random google search hits for the word "golem". your idea has not been done for a reason. you would havea weak opening with only the promise of "it gets better"

Hmm. Good point.

If you don't want to go full image quest, it has been shown that having images drawn occasionally is acceptable; like an illustrated novel. See: Blood Quest.

People generally don't count googled images to be valid substitutes.

if you can draw images but don't have the time/equipment/technical skill to do so much, just have lots of things happen with each post accompanied only by one image, as opposed to, say, CheeQuest, in which every second comes with five images.
