thats actually an urban myth, cats and dogs are generally neutral towards one another in most cases save for specific breeds. That said, I aint gonna argue against that not being the case in your questworld. If the dogs are the mortal enemies of the cats in yo world, so be it.

Sometimes a character is unlikable, and that it is good that they're unlikable. Or have something unlikable about them. Maybe they're likable because they're unlikable too, because it makes their likable moments more powerful! Because goddamn do I love me some Tywin "Damn it feels good to be a Lannister" Lannister for that reason. (i.e. his scenes with Arya for scenes where he's not a mean, coldblooded father).

But, Amielle isn't that much of a mean person at all. But if she turns out to have quite a few neurosis that would be delightful. As is if she were just regularly old delightful with a fierce competitive spirit. Because characters are fun! But seeing as how she's got a sword here I imagine torn gowns and violent cat faces covered in blood ripping out huge guts to guitar riffs. Because that's what usually happens when you give a princess a sword. But I don't know whats going to happen, just that red looks good on anybody with the appropriate complexion and outfit, perhaps facial features are an issue. Oh, and we can't forget hair. Well, I'm sure Amielle would look good in red, she looks pretty good in pink chainmail frilly dresses anything really.

She could use all that pink grass on the ground and make a good pink hula skirt.

This quest makes me want strawberry starburst or at least a strawberry popsicle is what I'm really saying.
