Wait. We don't know why someone wanted to dig that hole. Look through the dirt clod. It might have an answer.

Third Button. It's likely to bring up another number, perhaps the third of the three fives we need for the combination. Most combination locks use 0 as the very top, so it could work.
>>
No. 162240 ID: 2eac65

We already opened the safe. The combination was 55555.
>>
No. 162243 ID: 6a5a08

And what if there's a second combination lock? Don't question my flawed logic and not-pay-attention disorder.

Anyway, the numbers have to be important for something, or they wouldn't have been there. I'm guessing button 3 makes the next number appear, by a logical point of view, albeit my logic is flawed, and it could be a trap that crushes you with the ceiling.

I'm actually wondering if the third button clears the yellow numbers, requiring us to enter 1100100000 to open the door. We won't really know until we tried the third button.

Of course, just because a solution has been used once doesn't mean it won't be used again. We keep finding the same symbols repeatedly, after all.

I guess we're digging the hole, unless we can queue actions. In that case, "dig hole, push third button" seems to be recommended.

101? That doesn't quite seem to make sense. I'm not quite sure I'm getting the logic.

Well, it's fine to look. I will second digging the hole, if only to stop people from continuing to ask for it to be done.

I head over to finish digging the hole then. I hope the shovel will keep itself together until I'm done. While I do that, which takes a couple of minutes, the yellow numbers flash out and a screen opens up on the wall. It says INVALID INPUT. Inside of the hole, once it's finally dug completely, I find something metallic and long, and sharp too... but it's too long, I can't take it. I'd need to dig where its second part is, but the shovel returned to pieces, as did the string. R.I.P, you will be missed.
>>
No. 162768 ID: 4cf60c

Good to know there is something in the hole, although we will need to get the shovel in useable condition to fully dig whatever it is out.

Any ideas on the buttons, or should we start entering combinations at random until we start seeing a pattern?
>>
No. 162770 ID: 6a5a08

Since bra or panties would be embarrassing for you, why not try securing the shovel using your shoelaces, if you have them?

Put in the binary code we've been seeing. 1&3 are 1, 2 is 0.
>>
No. 162802 ID: 4cf60c

It's possible, but... a cycling binary number line? Why bother with two buttons that do exactly the same thing?

Well, the "5" from earlier might indicate that we should add up to the number 5. 5 in binary is 101 though, which we've already done, so I'm not sure what's different. Perhaps top-middle-top? Or do we have anything else that might be interpretted as a three digit number?

I guess we could return to the remove-skirt-reinforce-shovel idea.

This is easy then. Press the third button to reset the puzzle.

Then, starting with the top button as 1 press:

1,1,2,2,1,2,2,2,2,2,3

That should input the right sequence I think, assuming the third button is "enter".

Well, it's sensible for you to be afraid, but what is the alternative? We've exhausted every option available in this room.

The way I see it you have three choices:

A) Fix that shovel and keep digging (You know what that means).

B) Put in the code.

C) Wait for who/whatever put you here to come back.

Which would you rather do? I'm pretty sure C is going to happen by itself if you don't act. From what we've seen so far, that's not a pretty sight to behold.

You don't want to know.

well ok, how about we re-check some things?

in the hole you found a pipe. however you could not dig deep enought to remove it.

on the walls, have you analyzed the balcony and the symbol? it may have indentations or something of the likes.

does the 3 buttons stopped responding?

is there a loose brick on the "window"?

can you estimate where the second part of the digged out pipe is?
>>

>>

I might have a better idea:

Try using the shovel head to bang on the bricks.

I don't know if that's considered meta-gaming but it seems like we were shown mint being on the other side for a reason.

Maybe there will be a response.

Then again, the rooms may not be connected in the way we think.

I'm just concerned that hesitation will lead to...David^2

>on the walls, have you analyzed the balcony and the symbol? it may have indentations or something of the likes.
There's nothing else on the shelf, neither behind (I can't check there) or under. It's solidly attached to the wall so I can't take it away either. For the symbol on the wall, the middle part separates it into two indentations; it looks like plates of some sort could fit there.

>does the 3 buttons stopped responding?
Completely.

>is there a loose brick on the "window"?
It's as flat as a board. It doesn't quite feel like a brick wall either. I get the feeling this room is just one big joke, with the drawn knobs and all that.

>can you estimate where the second part of the digged out pipe is?
It couldn't possibly go from one side to the other of the room, could it? Though it looks long...

>>163865
What's with Mint all of a sudden? Did you learn things you could share with me?

>>163866
I can hold the side of the shovel and try to bang it against the "brick wall" but as I said earlier it looks flat as a board and when I touch it, it's awfully cold, kind of like metal. I doubt the shovel will do much against it.

>What's with Mint all of a sudden? Did you learn things you could share with me?

We interacted with a girl named Mint earlier. As far as we can tell, she's trapped in a similar situation you are. We just had a flash image of her in an identical room as yours, hence checking if we could view that room again.

As for the code, the only ones that make any sense are RWOC and the individual buttons being various commands. However, the "Enter code for access" does not imply individual commands.

You could always pull off your skirt and secure the shovel, too.
