Oh, I thought it was a proper cover, not just an overturned table. Ok, loot the bodies. Seems like you got another pistol and a rifle. Hand them out to whoever is the best shoots among your followers. And check if they have anything else that's useful.

Oh, and check that door before continuing on. Don't want anyone to burt through it while you continue on and shoot you in the back.

You got a badass assault rifle. Just peek it over your cover and open fire in a sort of line from right to left and try to strafe the room. Then pull back the gun and wait a bit to hear if any of them are getting back up and opening fire again.

If you don't hear any firing then ask if anyone has a pocket mirror or a knife. Or preferably both and some addhesive. Or one of those nifty fiber optic things you can use to look around corners.
