I believe you already have my name.

You've done a very good job convincing those two rapscallions to shortchange and kill my pets. Nevermind the irreparable damage caused to the main entrance.

So, go on then. Tell me who I am so we can conduct this exchange on a more personal level.

Hey. I kinda blanked out for a minute there. Forgot the wound hadn't closed and the stress of managing my magical power must have irritated it.

409984

Do you know how those skeletons got there?

Perhaps a tiny little spider fell from the ceiling and nipped some travelers on the neck.

Perhaps this bite threw their minds into feverish, bed-wetting nightmares.

Perhaps this nightmare allowed the spider to, over the course of several days, suck out all the nutrients their slowly rotting bodies could provide.

Perhaps years have passed since then, and the remains have all rotted to nothing.

Maybe this spider was really, really hungry that day. I know some hungry spiders.

I'm one of them.

Or maybe the dude in the next room dumped them here.

He's... Making a laughing noise. How the fuck does a spider know how to laugh? I'm going to refrain from telling Garth that little tale. He looks freaked out enough as it is.

Is there a way around the room?

None that I'm aware of, though surely you've seen another way on your travels.

If we go into the next room, are there other exits?

Yes. Let's talk about that when we get there, shall we?
