Dodge and strike at the joints. If we can disable her legs we should be able to wear her down and then deliver a killing blow.
>>
No. 113305 ID: b1b3d1

Joint strikes are an idea, but he can't chop at 'em, making them a bit harder to disable. He can manage thrusts or stabs, which makes her eyes the obvious place to go after. Thing is, he has to maneuver past at least two carapace'd legs to get at 'em. And ol' mum's probably able to play ping-pong with him if he tries.

Hrm. Put a foot on the slave metal box, and ask her "So how're you planning to get back, ma'am?".

...it just hit your weapon? It didn't try to kill you? Maybe it's trying to tell you to put it down.

I wonder if it will try to kill you at all? Keep defensive, don't make any hostile moves.

Perhaps without a driver she lacks the impetus or the will to continue such a dangerous venture... hell she doesn't even seem particularly intelligent does she?
>>
No. 113376 ID: b14128

>>113369
Actually, I have the nagging suspicion she might indeed be intelligent. I almost got a 'I don't know' vibe from she sound she made just then... I wonder if she can comprehend what Player is saying? Maybe Player should say 'If you can understand me, tap the ground three times' or something similar to see whether she can or not.

Seconding this, but say "I'm sorry, I don't know your language but I want to know if you understand me" (or something similar.)

Might as well try not to offend her if she can understand you, right?

You ask her to tap three times for yes, and she taps you twice on your head. Huh.

Maybe she means 'use your head'. Hmm. Look. Can you press us against her leg or something? We might be able to provide you with some thought-to-thought translation. I dunno. Never done it with a demon-spider before.

ask her to untangle your arm as a sign of güd peece. whatever that is where they live.

two choices, give us to her, we translate.

or simply admit she is some sort of idiotic god like lolth and adandon her there.

she is however hungry, and may actualy be signalizing that if you dont help her out (to eat your townsfolk) she will start with you while the remaining of her son summons more help.

BY THE BY, your glass clone may still be there. we are at least under watch, at utmost, guard up, invisible backstab soon!
>>

Nerts, bad eye-punch associations. Guess we can count that one out.

>Befriend, make an ally.

No, somehow I think that's a bad idea in the long run. Truce for now, though.

>Glass clone still there.

Doubt it. It seemed tied to those big gems around the mother, and Player's nowhere near them now. You're right in that he might be observed through them still, though. There are a lot more crystals than the one Charlotte was using. Someone else might also arrive to take her role.

Hmh. She may want to get to the slaves. For food? For return transport? I have no idea. Maybe you can, I don't know...Just, y'know, leave?

Right now she doesn't seem too terribly upset that you killed her daughter. That's...I don't know what that's supposed to mean. Maybe she -did- need guidance of some kind.

No. 113970 ID: 86af10

Perhaps you activated an insta-return feature of some kind. It does seem she was sphagetti-sucked back the wormhole way she came from. Much like that other guy, now that I think about it.

Check the slaves. See if they're really dead, and if they ain't, continue doing that uncoupling thing, and check if you can wake them up. Mayhaps even try to waste a cure potion on it.

You need to go make sure the guards are away. And try to gather back your inventory, the sword and the chain. As well as clear away the webs. Torch fire will probably work. The torch by the slaves was extinguished by the "blood gush" so you may be able to re-light it if you don't want to waste a torch.

Idunno. You're the ones in that pocket, you tell me.

Well then get her to drink the potion. That way you can get her to carry more junk out of the dungeon.

That and you can ask her just what the fuck is going on. But for now lets get her up and running and get back to town. I think your bruised and battered body would really appreciate a hot meal, a hot bath and a decent bed soon.

She isn' swallowing, so she's coming with me. Father said the acolyte can treat wounded people, I hope he can care for demons. I hope some good comes from this.

I'll get my sword as soon as I pass by it. It's probably the other side of the room. And then we'll see if spider silk is flammable.

No I didn't forget. But you should be able to find ways to tie it to your body with the chain or store it in your codpiece or just carry the damn stuff in your hands. Show a little bit of imagination, it's like you never tried to loot a dungeon before.

Not web, and definitely not pokemon. It was a teleport thing, I think. If you check the return method of Stahlvern's body and the demon mage, you'll see that it was similar, only smaller in scale.
