Garret "Garth" Redwick has come to Funkytown to make a new start in life. His goal? Fuck one female of each of the furred species present. With his endeavours successful so far /quest/ fears something bad may be around the corner, or that supernatural forces may be involved!

Casually mention the hostages and invite him up to your room all in one sentence. Keep walking before you finish talking.

Cold, man. Besides that kind of bullshit can fuck up everything up here.

>>151875
This might be the safest bet, it gets the warning to Max and Liz while drawing the fuck away from them. The only problem it will be hard to escape from upstairs. On the other hand, if we can throw him down the stairs that's good.

My suggestion: "There won't be any need for that. Max, take Liz home please. Now."

Then head to your room, and figure out something to beat him over the head with along the way. If there's a half full glass of something grab it and take a sip, then smash his face in with it. Or if you go by the mop, or a chair, or anything. Having him fall down the stairs at the same time is the best bet to take him out.

Tell him you will be with him in a bit. You're just going to get some snacks for him. Ask Max to follow you out into the kitchen. Give him a brief explenation and look him deep into the eyes and ask him to be a dear and escort Liz home.

Then find some chemical to use to knock him out or a tenderizing hammer, bottle or a knife. Some stuff that can be used as weapons, and get some light snacks. Go out and talk with the nice man and then knock him the fuck out.

No, he won't let you out of his sight and certainly not with anybody else.
You need to lead him away.

"Hey. Cut it out."
>"I will as soon as we've talked, Redwick."
"Fine- But- Max, your mother wants you to call her. Your girlfriend is in hysterics."
>"Ah, something happened to Ellenoir?! Oh no!"
He runs to the phone. Elizabeth quietly sips her tea.

I lead Price up to my room. As soon as we're out of sight he pulls a revolver on me.
Since it's not that unexpected, I am not very startled by it.
Price motions me to hurry to my room. When we're in he closes the door and points to the bed.
I sit down quietly.
>"No more shenanigans, Redwick. Let's get this over with."
He takes a pen from his backpocket and begins drawing something on the wall.
>"Now, can you describe this for me, please?

"Honestly? Not a damn clue. But since you're one of the Boston Historical Society's experts on history and cults I'm guessing you're pretty sure you think it's important.
I also think, since you've broken several federal laws and endangered the lives of innocent people, that you aren't thinking rationally. This isn't what you wanted to do, and it isn't what you wanted to be. You need help, and it's not too late to put down the gun and work this out peacefully.

Lying to the cops the way you did, they're gonna lock your dumb ass up, and I hope they do. Now you tell me how a wall scribble is going to stop that from happening."

[From Farmer]
[Its an Elder Sign. This guy thinks you're a Lovecraftian Mythos creature. It's prettymuch a basic ward... can be found on almost every type of mythosian runescript ever seen, to the point it became an icon as important as Cthulhu to identify it. If you'll say any of this, is up to you; I'm just feeding you info.]

Also, we're willing to get you out of this, but you must fuck Max in exchange.

If you wanna try the whole not dying thing you could yell out something like "WAIT!" to get him to pause, while slipping forward and get your back horizontal, and kicking up into the hand holding the gun, trying to knock it out of his grasp, or at least throw off his aim. He seems to be extremely nervous or sick, and putting his faith in the gun and you not trying anything, so he probably won't react fast enough to stop you.
Could these guys have anything on you? Could they incriminate you? We have to know if it is necessary to take them down or if playing the victim as much as possible would be better, so the police can handle it while we FUCK BITCHES.

...and you never will with a variety of common bullet loads. There is a reason you specifically have to order subsonic bullets for silenced guns.

I was implying that many bullets are 'supersonic'... thus assuming a headshot (and at these distances and with Garth distracted I will) the most one might hear is the click of the firing pin as the bullet will reach you before the sound does.
>>
No. 152247 ID: 701a19

>>152206
The time it would take the brain to preprocess that sound would exceed the time it would take for the bullet to come to rest.
>>
No. 152248 ID: 19ecf1

wait... it was a revolver...

Revolver's can't be silenced due to spinning chambers...

In addition, missfire!
>>
No. 152251 ID: 3416ec

>>152248

Well, there technically are silenced revolvers, but they're pretty expensive and hard to come by.
>>
No. 152253 ID: 362f0c

>>152248
Never implied it was silenced... only that his brain would be in the process of being scrambled while he was 'hearing" due to the bullet being faster than the sound it of it firing. (ie: supersonic ammo is more common than subsonic ammo)

P.S: also.. the Soviets 'did' make a silenced revolver... not that it looks like that at all... or was even very 'silent'.

No. 152276 ID: e3f578

>>152269
I'm aware, .38 was described in The Godfather game by Luca Brasi as a weapon that doesn't do much damage to a man but noisy enough to keep the curious away. I imagine Garrets a tough boy and with medical attention can live through a .38.

Now if that's a fucking .44 magnum just drawn smaller... yeah Garret is fucking dead faster than a lucky punk.

as long as it doesn't go through the heart or brain you can survive if you get to a hosp[ital fast enough.
